I really am an animal lover but....

The animals you have stated should never be kept as pets because they are wild and cannot be domesticated.People have kept even stranger and exotic animals like pythons, alligators,snakes,iguanas,spiders,reindeer,emus and so on.In my country it is illegal to keep such animals as pets and those who dare to keep them can face a prison sentence.One can keep dogs,cats and in villages cows are kept as they are useful.I have never kept any pets though i love animals and especially dogs and cats.

I fall in with your views.By pet it is usually understood that it means a small one and being harmless enough.How come the lady in question could keep a chimp?Didn't she think that She was in danger all day?

Wild animals belong in the wild, or possibly in a good, humane, stimulating zoo. Not in homes. People anthropomorphise all kinds of animals, and try to imagine they have human characteristics, but they do not. Having a chimp is not the same as having a child. I also do not think raccoons should be kept as pets. My uncle had one, and when she matured she became mean. I hate to see people clothes on animals, as well.

Some people just trust animals way too much,thinking that they won't act with their natural instinct when they take care of them for long time already

Monkeys are fun to look at from a distance, but that story about the woman and her face freaked me out too. I mean..we know they are aggressive but something like that can really take it home. I don't think they are meant to be pets either. There are some animals that are never meant to be kept. Monkeys, chimps, and gorillas are some of those. Even if they weren't aggressive, I don't think I would want to have one either.

no not me i would never have anythng like that for a pet, they are very nasty as well , my friend and another lady had pet birds in there house and those birds are nast as well all the seeds everywhere yuck.. i am very picky as to waht pets i have around me and inside i will never have a house cat i hate litter boxes yuck so i will stick with my dog whom i have had almost 10 years.. she is the best..

I wouldn't want to keep a wild animal as a pet. Some people just can't accept the fact that they are not used to live with humans like domestic animals do. These animals can become agressive, and it's not their fault, if their nature is not respected. They belong to where their natural inhabitat is.
