I am still a student who is striving so hard in school. I want my grades to be higher because this gives me joy, satisfaction and a feeling of contentment. But recently I am experiencing a little down because I find some of my subjects difficult for me to comprehend. Its too much information for my brain to store I think? How can I improve and be successful in school? Any idea? Thanks for sharing!

To become a successful students you must have a good study habit. Try not to do too much studying at one time. Plan specific times of studying. Set specific goals for their study times. Start studying when planned. Work on the assignment they find most difficult first.Tell their friends not to call during their study times. Review your schoolwork over the weekend.

When I have to study a subject that I find difficult I usually try to find some extra books about that subject. Sometimes different books explain things in different ways, and if I don't understand the books that my school uses I try to find some books that describe things in a different way. I compare the information in both books and sometimes that that makes the subject easier to understand. I also think that it is important to take some breaks while you study. Small breaks give you new energy and makes it easier to focus on your studies, that is my experience.

Hi Lauren,
Being a student has its ups and downs, just like what you're experiencing now. It may be a cliche, but hard work is the only key to sweet success. So just hang in there, do your homework, study harder, and you'll earn the grades you want. Good luck!
