Yes I waited till mothers day to do this one. partly because of mylot glitches
but then its good i had to wait cause its appropriate today. I know you all are sick of hearing about my kids and my bragging. are you?
but anyway thats why the title of this because im either bragging or complaining about them and its pretty much the same as when they were little.
anyway, this time im bragging about the daughter whos bf im usually complaining about. ! lol. She is manager of a Subway. and im proud of that. she works her little butte off. So, Thursday they had a big meeting/party for all the managers in AZ and they got to meet Jared. a guy that tours for subway that lost like hundreds of pounds from just eating subway sandwiches. She had fun and even got to take a picture with him. Shes the one with longer black hair here, the taller one i dont know the lady on the other side of him. . my daughter is a woman with ambition. worked her way up.yay!! havent you found that kids are the same when they are grown? lol. a blessing and a curse.have you heard about Jared? Happy Mothers day my friends.

Sounds like you had a nice Mother's Day. Something positive is always nice. Yes, I used to watch the Subway commercials when Jared was in them. Glad your daughter had a nice time. Wish my kids had some ambition. My daughter had a little but the rest don't. Hope things continue to go well.

I have heard of Jarred. I remember the commercials. Good for her. It sounds like she likes her job and did the right thing there. Being a manger is a big step. You never know, maybe one day she will own her own franchise. I love Subway, I go there form time to time.

I remember those commercials. I always wondered how he actually lose weight eating Subway. Thats like someone saying they lost weight eating McDonald's. But I do enjoy Subway from time to time. Although if I ever want a real hero I will go to a real italian deli here in Brooklyn.

I read about Jared years ago when I saw the commercials. He at Subway instead of the junk he usually ate, began to exercise and ate sensibly. Subway helped but it wasn't the only thing that made him lose weight. And now he's happily married and enjoying life.
It's great when our kids achieve something like a management position. I have one son who is an achiever with big plans and one who hasn't found his way yet and is practically living on the streets.

me to. it seems like i have all types in my 5. the rock, my oldest son that is pretty well set in life. my daughter in ohio, that is an over acheiver and never asks for anything but seldom gives either. my 3rd child, in ohio, seems he no longr needs help financialy but i think thats because of his wife being level headed. my daughter here in the picture being the ambitious one, yet has a bf holding her back or trying to. and my youngest that i dont know what to do about as his brother is trying to teach him but im wondering if hes a lost cause. since his gf threw him out all he cares about is partying

the lady at the side looks like a Filipina bunny... anyways, we all do complain or brag about our kids..most of my topics even here are about my own children.. our lives revolves around them, therefore we have a lot to talk about them

I am beginning to understand why -
- my friend calls his little one a terrorist
- my granny used to call me a little ghost
- my mom calls my bro devil
- my mom calls my little nephew - an emotional blackmailer
And amidst all these, I am now confused what will I call my kid when I have one

You're definitely right! Kids are sometimes a blessing, but sometimes they're a curse, especially when they have their temper tantrums. But it depends on us how we consider it. As a mom, we must be patient with our kids.

Hi Bunny! I bet everyone has heard if Jarred. He did an awesome thing and Subway has gotten a lot of mileage out of him as their spokesperson. I could never do it that way. I'd want all the mayo and stuff on them. I love Subways. Yep our grown kids are still the light if our lives and also get on our last nerves!

It's hard to say if my kids are a curse. My eldest (28 now) really became someone. She always was very sweet, always gives in, always is the underdog as well. I am happy she changed now (a bit). I haven't seen her on Mother's Day (was yesterday) but the day before. She and my other daughter (22) gave me a new laptop after 7/8 years I have a new one (strange enough it's hard to say goodbye to the old and messy one which I probl. won't do and try to give an extra life somehow somewhere). She is a bakery, also model and now training models as well and making her own clothes (my eldest) for the catwalk. I am so proud of her. I was a teenage mom and besides of the fact she is my best friend and we are very close she is the prove that also with a teenage mom you can be who you want. A great person.
My 22 year old is very creative as well. She is an animator, also working for a local tv/radio station. If you want to know how to get what you want (and need a lot of luck) stick with her. I have hardly see her yesterday either since she had to do things for the radio/tv station. So I spend the day mostly with the youngest two who already started figthing at 6 or 6.30 pm! Not a great way to wake up I can tell you. Problem my son.. he is always awake early, wanted to join his younger sister in his bed (made under his) and she likes to sleep longer. They were kind of fighting whole day on, in between doing other things (I had to take my daughter to swimming class at 8.30 pm), it nerved me somehow. Perhaps because I felt tired and already have nerve pains since 4 weeks. they are not a curse (actually I got way more freedom since I have kids as before) but I was broke at the end of the day and went to bed early.

yes sometimes the older ones can help out a lot if they are well situated in life and know how to survive on their own and also help mom. like my oldest.

Good to keep a balanced view of your kids. I think business meetings like that can be really inspiring. I like the idea of eating Subway and losing weight.
