[this is a fantasy thread, its all about imagination]
Batman's villain Clayface, X-men's villain Mystique are some examples of Shape Shifters.
If you are a shape shifter you will have the ability to transform into anything, You can imitate the appearance of any person ,object or animals. if you have this ability or superpowers, How would you take advantage of it? When are you going to use it and where are you not going to use it? Who are the people are going to imitate?
if you still dont understand what a shapeshifter is.....
well you can transform into anything.....You can become a bird, a kitten, a tiger, you can turn into bruce lee, angelina Jolie and Abraham Lincoln. In other words you can imitate everyone's appearance,
You can also turn into objects, You turn into a car or a table.
if you have this power, how will you use it.

I think I'd transform into a kitten and cuddle up to a prospective boyfriend to see if he likes cats. 
Or, just for the fun of being a kitten for a day. I'd want to be a bird next to try my wing at flying up into the sky. After that, I don't know. I think I'd want to change into a different animal all the time just for the experience of being a different animal.
I'm not sure what people I would imitate. I don't think I'd like the idea of completely impersonating someone even if I could do it, I'd just feel dishonest. Maybe I'd transform into an old woman and test people to see who would help me out like in fairy tales.

if I felt lazy not using the powers, I may try to change my permanent form... I will be taller, I am 5'11 and I want to be 6 feet tall and I also wanted to be bulkier.
Aside from a bird, well you can tranform into a helicopter or airplane,
well you know in Zoo's children have free passes, you can transform into a kid, I think pretending to be an old lady may sound like a good social experiment.

I'd probably do that too. Well, not be six foot and buff... but changing my permanent form.
Children do have free passes! I could be six again and smuggle myself in with a group of field tripping elementary students.

to think of it, most shape shifters are super villains. I think shape shifters would make good detectives. You may depend more in stealth than combat though, cos shape shifters dont have super strength, but would be great for spying and infiltration.

I wish I was like Mystique. I love her powers, and even if she doesn't shift she still looks great in blue.
Actually, it would be great if I could look like anyone, but I would really love to have a ability to Teleport like Mystique's son, Nightcrawler. I have to travel so much and go to so many places, that often times, I just wish that I could teleport there. I think that Nightcrawler's teleporting ability would be a much better power to have.

First, I would shift my everyday shape to something a little more pleasing and fit. Secondly, I would probably shape shift to be a cat that was fully sentient, so when I was not in the form of a cat I would remember what I saw and observed and overheard. As a cat I would spy on people, either those who are criminals or maybe financially for my own good.

I yeah I think imitating a person is not the only way to enjoy shape shifting. we can choose an ideal appearance as our permanent form, How about inanimate objects? would you try to transform into some of them?

I would turn into a mouse or some small inconspicuous thing that could hide the corner and listen to all those juicy conversations I wonder about. ya, snoopy I guess. I would love to hear the response to certain things is all. I think it'd be fun to turn into certain people and then see others reaction.
