Do your shopping naked and get free groceries!

A German shop close to the Danish border promised the customers free groceries if they were willing to shop naked. Each customer was able to choose free groceries for 2000 kr (about $340) The offer was limited to 100 customers according to the first come first served principle and many people were interested in the offer. Many journalists showed up and some of the customers got their pictures in the newspaper. My husband and I had heard about the offer, and we laughed about the idea, and never seriously thought about participating. I prefer to wear clothes and pay for my own groceries What do you think that the offer? Would you have walked naked into the shop if you were able to save $340?

Only for that amount? Uh uh...I won't go for it. Maybe make it higher then I will think twice lols :p There are many odd things happening around that we do not understand why people had to do it- was it for fun or exposure, that I do not know :p

My precious body is worth more than that! I would probably do it as a challenge and not for the money. I would do it for art's sake but not for the money! I don't want to see myself in a newspaper naked!

I have never heard of a place doing this before! That is crazy... There is no way I would do this in a million years. I wouldn't want others looking at me or taking pics of me shopping naked. I would rather pay for my groceries. Like one of the posts above me said unsanitary! Funny but gross lol

Wow!! Really? Some people would actually do something like this? Personally there is no way I would have considered it, as I feel this is pretty discusting and personally feel better only having my husband or myself see me. I guess the business wanted a New way to attract people, and needed a Tax write off or promotion of some sort. To me, this sounds so downgrading.

The offer was the restricted to 100 people and only the first people who showed up got free food, but more than 100 people were interested in offer. I have the same opinion as you, I wouldn't participate. I am trying hard to save money and earn extra money at the moment and free food sounds tempting, but I wouldn't do something like that to save money. I prefer to spend less and pay for my own food! The people who participated even got their pictures in the newspaper and there are pictures on several websites, too. I would hate the idea of seeing my picture there, but the people who participated probably didn't think about that. Yes, you are right that shop. They simply wanted to attract attention and I think that is the reason why they chose this unusual idea.

hi porcospino. this is an interesting proposal indeed. i would be inclined to do it, shop naked but with some conditions. condition 1, i'd want all the other shoppers plus all the shop personnel naked as well. preferably more ladies, hot ones at that, than men. lol! condition 2, no photo or video taking. i would imagine that the shop got the publicity it wanted. although, i can buy and pay for my own groceries, doing something outrageous as this for $340 is actually i'd be willing to do. lol! cheers and happy mylotting!!!

I think that most of the cashiers were women, but they all wore clothes Yes, I think the shop got the publicity that they wanted. Many journalists and photographers showed up and the event was mentioned in many newspapers and on several websites. I only read about it, I never seriously thought about participating. I prefer to buy my own food and do my shopping while I am dressed

Would that mean nothing at all, oh my I don't think I will ever be one of those shoppers. I prefer to be fully clothed and pay for the items rather than go naked. Maybe it's one way of promoting the stores, having that marketing stunts will put them on the news.

I don't think that I could convince any of my family members to participate. The only one that might do it is my brother, no he would just laugh and say no. My husband and I also laughed about it when we heard about. I actually thought that it was a joke at first...I think that the owner of the shop wanted to do something unusual in order to attract attention and the he did manage to attract attention and many journalists and customers showed up.

No. I'd have to be pretty darn drunk to walk into a store with my birthday suit. Not gonna happen. Pajamas and puppy slippers is as bad as its gonna get.

Hi Porco, i am not interested with this type of offer. That kind of offer sounds unsanity to me. I don't dare to shop naked for that sum of money. Besides that, the free groceries sounds not a large sum to me. Really not worth to be naked just for that offer. Same like you, i prefer to wear my clothes and pay for my groceries. i prefer to stay safely and not attracting any unwanted invitation after that.

If I were 10 years older and in an old people's home, I might get my fellow residents to join me in taking up the shop's offer - and circulate the suggestion to the other old people's homes. Of course, the lead carer and staff would have to get the groceries home for us afterwards.

This is very interesting and a rare offer from the shop owner. Anyway I will not do the shopping without my dresses. I will never sell myself for anything. I am constant at what I am. I will pay for the things which I buy that is the my way.

I can't imagine myself walking inside the grocery to shop just to save $340. I preferred to pay and refuse the offer. We all know that most of us was trying to earn money and as much as possible we do everything to save but this offer was different and I cant take it.

i think more stuff should be done naked. everything in the world. imagine watching politics if everyone was naked. actually, scratch that. old politicians all naked might not be the best thing to view. either way, naked grocery shopping. totally digging that.

I'd only go for this in the most desperate of times. Even then, I would be hesitant about it.
