hi chang for me its like being an armchair travelor as I use my keyboard to respond to my mylot friends from all over the world. I could never afford to travel to those places so this is a wonderful second best to me.I do enjoy it too. and learning one can do at any age which is really good to know.

Here on mylot,I have learnt a lot from my mylot friends from all over the world,including English,local conditions and customs in various parts of the world,etc. Which has broadened my knowledge.I have found some pleasure in it.

hi gardengerty I had that happen to me once with a y oungster who said old people should just dry up and die in a discussion. camed to find out she was young and had a nervous breakdown, and later she pmed me and told me she appreicated what I said and was sorry she had acted like that. we keopt up p;ms for a long time then I think her parents moved over seas and I never heard from her or saw her on mylot again.Yep; the state of my lot lol thats what it is to us o lder ones.lol.,

hi carm I know so I just hope the enthusiasm of these new ones will stay awhile. i know some older ones who have left here and I just never thought they would either. of course some had health and money problems but HWG is one who I really missed and numerous private messages have gone unanswered.some like Gaby are mostly in Facebook now and I do go there to keep up with here and Gissi too. I am a nut I guess as I d o not get sick of mylot. I did get sick of my darned computer doing a melt down and taking my monitor with it. but my son worked three weekends to rebuild my computer and get me a new to me used led monitor. oh I am off topic wow. well I hope the enthusiasm of some new ones will spread among some of us older ones here and keep people from leaving. I used to be a pessimist till I married Garland Hatley and he changed me to be more positive,it rubbed off on me I guess.yet it has its drawbacks as I get sad when people leave whom I never expected to. live and learn I guess.

I miss HWG too and if I am not mistaken, she isn't here because of the job she got, she is just too busy. I hope I never get too busy for mylot, because I do like it here.

Oh wow thats a lot of discussions to go back through. I never thought of doing that. I tend to see who has created new ones in my email and go to their page and read them and respond!

hoi somecowgirl you have a blue star new or did I just not notice before? anyway yes at first I do was concerned about the one with the quick earnings but I think she was just surprised.yes its fun to see more positive things from newcomers instead of just complaints all the time.Your last sentence is what I was thinking too as they will'make great mylotters soon.

hi celticeagle yes I too was skeptical b ut they seem to be happy on mylot even though new and I think they are ones who did read the guidelines so they have some idea as to how my lot really works. this would help a lot really. I just lost a resopnse I made to someone. I still do not know how this happens, first I was typing then stopped to correct and error and the whole response just disappeared. I hit undo and it did not undo. grrrrrrrrrrrr.Time will tell and if they stay happy it will make it more fun for all in a happier atmosphere. oh I know I can check on ones I have responded to and see where I was last. this is maddening. some days this never happens other days it happens several time. some say hit the back button but that did not bring up my response at all.well guess I ha ve to take my lumps and like it. lol

hi celtic my response never went through as i checked on responded to and the discussion and my response never went through.yesterday evening it was really bad at losing posts so I just copied all I wrote then hit paste if it flew off. hope tonight will not by like that.

thanks ravisivan I try to stay young in spirit and in mind, my poor roomie has alsheimer and is slowly getting more forgetful sad as she w as as bright as a new penny two years ago when I became her roommate. yes it remains to be seen but a number of newones are really'so enthusiastic and this has not been seen here until lately. I am hoping that they see what I saw after I had been here awhile that mylot offered so much more than just earnings and its made me so happy and I have had so much fun too. imagine having fun doing something you like and getting paid for it. I was so lonely when I was forcibly retired and when I found mylot it gave me something positive to do and even get paid for doing it. I made friends and the loneliness lifted. I just hope other newcomers can see these things too and enjoy being here.

hi else no I was feeling great physically but mentally ouch so am glad mycomputer is rebuilt and I am doing fine mylotting these last two days. loll

hi else22 yesI w as off line due t o a computer meltdown that also too my monitor with it. my son took three weekends to get the parts and rebuild my computer. He even bought me a new to me led monitor so now I am back in business. I am so happy to see these new comers who really do appreciate how mylot works and are enjoying themselves here.

okay copy paste second one flew off too darn darn yes it is refreshing as maybe they are seeing more of what mylolt offers"than just the earnings and they are realizing you can enjoy being here' and responding to each other and having some real fun here.It is a pleasing thought that some new ones see what I have always seen about mylot.

Most of the newbies are very happy lately, they are earning big $$ in Mylot at the same time learning new things and making new friends. Indeed many of them are very active in posting discussion, you are witnessing fewer complaints from them now.

hi dorannmwin yes they really seem to understand that they are not going to replace the wages of any off line full time job, and also they seem to realize theres a lot more to mylot than just earning some money. friendships and sharing thoughts and caring all have been brou ght up by the happy newbies. they even appreciate being told about the guidelines and the FAQ's too. you are right it is like a b reath of fresh air.
