The Dance, Yoga, etc. weekend was awesome! It was frustrating at first because like I told someone here, the music was going one speed and my feet were like they and my legs had led in them. Then the adrenaline kicked in and I could finally go with the music. I met a woman there who had been diagnosed with cancer in 1980. They told her she would be dead in two years if she didn't do what they said. Which was like chemo, etc. She told them that at least she would be ok for whatever time she had and not suffering with medical foolishness. Then she met someone who can look into a person's eyes and tell not just what is wrong, but also what to do about it. It's now 2012 and instead of dying in two years, she's fine. I asked her to send me information about contacting that person. She didn't have the info with her. I had promised my Dr. that I would try another chemo after the dance camp. I was so ill from the first chemo that I told them to cancel the next one. I went for chemo on the 5th of June and didn't stop being ill until June 16th. They had wanted me to do another chemo on the 12th, I couldn't do it. So the Dr. gave me three options, all were back to back chemos except one. That one was to just do my own thing for 6 weeks and then get tested to see what the cancer has done by that time. Sounded like the only plan for me. I want to enjoy my summer, not be ill all the time. So I should be healthy for the midevil fair! Yeah! Then the woman hadn't gotten back to me, so I emailed her a request for the info about contacting this guy. So she gave me the telephone number of this Healthyway place where he works on Mondays and Fridays. So June 25th at 2:30PM, I see him. Two of my friends wanted to go, too. So they also have appointments for that day. So now you are caught up. The plan is for this guy to help the three of us on the 25th. Then for me to go to the midevil fair on one of the three days it's going, June 29, June 30, or July 1. If I could, I'd go all three days. But I don't think my health and my pocketbook could handle it. So now you're all caught up.

Thank you, I need all the prayers I can get. This week will be interesting. I'll try to keep you all informed, but we'll have to see what my computer, my service provider and Mylot do. Our cable company made updates that totally wacked our tv and computer for a while. Take care

That stinks..I was fortunate enough that if out internet provider went out, our neighbor would get action because she was running a business. Now if something goes wrong, we have to call and go through the headache of contacting them. I hope they are not planning an update anytime soon...

We were so glad we hadn't bundled the phone, too. That could have been horrible.

I'm totally interested, too. Only a few more hours now before I find out. You might find the last half of what i wrote to the person above you interesting.

It seems like a lot has been going on. I am sort of with you to do your own thing for six weeks. My best doctors have always trusted my gut instinct about myself. I think that cancer is as unpredictable and individual as diabetes is. I hope you have a wonderful summer.

It can only do one of three things, remain the same, get worse or get better. 2/3 are good. 1/3 is not so good. I just don't want to be sick all the time. If this is my last summer on Earth, I'd like to enjoy it. The Drs. are acting like it might be. Yes, cancer is unpredictable and as individual as diabetes is. I'm going to give the next 6 weeks the best shot at a great summer possible and then more after that if I'm well enough.

Your dance camp sounds like it was alot of fun. This woman you met sounds like she had an interesting story. I have heard of these people that can read your eyes. Very interesting stuff. Have you heard of the group of mushrooms that are reported to help with cancel. The retarding of the disease and helping to make the therapy easier to handle. THey are: Shitake(Lentinus edodes), Maitake(Grifola frondosa), Golden Needle(Flammulina velutipes), Agaricus Blazei(Agaricus blazei murrill), and Reishi Mushroom(Ganoderma lucidum). I have written article on each and find them very interesting. And, of course there is the COQ10enzyme also. We have those midevil fairs here also. Lots of fun.

when I studied what helps with white blood cells during chemo, yes I f ound three of your listed mushrooms. I ate lots of mushrooms for a long time. I'm now kind of sick of mushrooms. The S, M, and R mushrooms you listen I've read about , but GN and AB are new ones to me. CoQ10, I tried for lowing my blood pressure with another natural herbal and it did nothing for my blood pressure or my heart rate. It works really well with people who use red rice yeast for fighting cholesterol.

I am so thrilled your dance/yoga weekend was awesome. And then to meet that woman . . . I wonder what she was told to do to "cure" her of her cancer! Very curious what he will have to say about you and your friends . . . looks like we will have to pick some dandelions that morning for you ! Oh gosh, I haven't been to a medieval fair in so long! I have some friends who dress up every year and work at those fairs (but it's not work for them - they love it!). I once got kidnapped by a medieval "vendor" at the fair - he put me over his shoulders and tried to sell me as a wife - ha ha!!! Anyhow, here's hoping you have a wonderful summer (I read your comment above about it possibly being your last summer . . . I just broke out into tears . . . I want you to be able to enjoy many more summers ahead!). Thinking of you, writersedge . . . . Keep us up to date!!
