Have you had yours this Summer?

I mean a good, juicy, tasty watermelon? Not one that tastes like rind but a nice and ripe one. I like the ones with a sort of a dull thud to them. Those seem the best. Deep rich pink ones. Have you had a good one this year?

Now that you mention it...no I haven't had one yet. What is wrong with me? I love watermelons and it certainly has been hot enough to enjoy one to its fullest potential.

We have lots of water melon here in my country specially when it's summer time. Very good when having heat outside. But it's rainy season now and I don't feel eating when the weather is cold.

My husband loves to eat the watermelon. So of course we often have it in summer. It is sweet and juice and this is why I love this fruit. It especially tastes well after putting in the refrigerator. I love China

Celtice, we like eating watermelon especially those seedless ones. But, the price is much more expensive than those with seeds. Since my child prefer the seedless one, so usually i will buy it. It is very juicy and delicious. Deep pink colored flesh are the most delicious ones especially after you had refrigerated them for a while. But, my child prefer to eat watermelon without putting it into the refrigerator.

Hi friend, i like to take water melon in the summer days, it gives more coolness and reduce our thirst. Also i like to take fresh juices like sugarcane juice, grape juice with out any artificial concentrations.

I've had watermelon but only to make water out of. Actually, no, my sister did buy two small ones like a week apart and I had a bit of both. Though when I've bought for myself I've gotten the precut ones and put it in the blender with some sugar, water and ice cubes to make myself some watermelon water. I've been todl they are great this year (the watermelons).

It is nice to get the precut ones so you can see if they are the deep pink of a good melon.

hi dear celticeagle, summer has just started, not only on the calendar but also regarding the temperatures so for the lucky ones who can have watermelon there still is a lot of time to get it and enjoy it. I didnt have any yet and I guess I wont cause they have these quick carbs which will spike the blood glucose to no end so I dont eat them any more. My personal favorites are the yellow watermelons. They taste much better than the red ones but are hard to find.

Its in full swing here. I do like to wait until the last of the summer for better flavor and ripeness. We are getting some good ones now though. I am glad I can enjoy such things and sorry you can't.
