Do you like to eat a lot or eat the pricy food? I used to think when I go for a buffet, I should eat as much as I can so it worth the price that I pay for a buffet but now I have learnt to eat the food that I like, eat a little bit of each kind so I can try all. What about you?

I have only eaten in a buffet when my old manager treat us for dinner when she got her back pay in the company where we met. That's why I didn't spend any cash, but what did I ate that day was all meat that I could eat and I love the taste one of those are Kare-Kare this is one of the dish that I really love. I love the thickness of the sauce and the taste of bagoong it's really delicious.

I don´t often go to buffet restaurants unles they are very good. I tend to try out new things, a little of this and a little of that. I usually don´t eat any dessert as I don´t have good experiences with buffet restaurant desserts. I specially like a buffet restaurant in my country with brasilian food. The meat is awesome and so is the feijoada.

I notice that the dessert is either very good or very bad at the buffet place

I go to a buffet to eat a variety of foods. I take small portions, but it is still very easy to over eat. I try to be selective and although I will try new things, I also want to make sure to have a bite or two of my favorites.

I love a good salad bar. If it's a good one i can make my meal from it. I really don't care for restaurant veggies & i have those at home all the time so i like something different when i get to go out to eat.

I used to like the salad bar a lot too but I forget since when I started not going to the salad bar at all but focus on other food, feel like picking at the salad bar is a waste

I know I should not go to buffets much, but my friend and I really love this Japanese/Korean buffet. My favorite is the one where you grill your own meat/fish/mushroom (I think it's Yakiniku). I also like miso soup and pretty much all of their Korean dishes (I looooove kimchi). I try to eat as much as all of the food offered, however, I don't eat too much sushi (the rice is quite heavy). I also like tempura, especially shrimp - that, I can take a lot of. Why I take least is the dessert offering. Just ice cream and fruits would be enough.

I don't go to those too much anymore because when you get older (I' 55) you gain weight easy. but when I was younger and could eat all I want, I would concentrate on what I liked the most ande eat alot of that. Mostly that would be the pasta stuff. There is a place called "old country buffet and they had great macoronie and cheese. So I would have a little of the other stuff and a bunch of macaronie and cheese and sometimes even get up and have a 2nd helping. those were the days!

I have been to an old country buffet back in MA too, they might not been the same one though, I remember they have a lot of options and the pasta were pretty good too.

Whenever I go to a buffet, I always make sure I eat EVERYTHING. I wanted to make sure everything I paid for was worth it.

Buffet of desserts - fruits and sweets
I am not really a fan of buffet because the mere look at the array of food makes me full already. I don't eat as much as others so if I would be for a buffet meal I surely end up a loser. But anyway there are times I can't avoid going to an eat-all you-can restaurant if only to favor friends request and if we do, you can always see me feasting on the desserts. I have a sweet tooth and I so love fruits and salads.

I like to visit restaurants where there is a buffet, because that gives me the chance to taste many different kinds of food. I usually take a little bit of each dish so that I have the chance to try all of the food or most of the food. I visited a buffet restaurant last night. It was an Asian restaurant and they had food from several different countries in Asia. The food was really delicious, but unfortunately I wasn't very hungry, so I wasn't able to eat more than one small plate.
