Hi Sweety,
thanks for the response, and sorry for late reply. My stomach will adjust any vegetarian food, but I eat limited food only. So I could not taste more varieties at that time, but some times took more food also but it is in rare occasions only. Twice or thrice a year I am getting such eating chances, have a nice day.

Honestly yugasini, I dont relish eating in five star hotels. For one, the dishes have names that I dont know. lol. Those that I know are at least 10 times more expensive than the rate at which they are available outside. My best experience I would say would be at a wedding reception. The bride was stunningly beautiful, and food was ..ok, as I said, nothing that will make me go to the hotel for. :)

I enjoyed reading about your experience at the hotel. It is always interesting to taste different kinds of food including food that we haven't had the chance to eat before. I haven't had the chance to atttend conference like you do, but I have eaten at a 5 five star hotel in the past. In the town where my ex-boyfriend and I lived there was a 5 star hotel and restaurant. The food was delicous but quite unusual. It was not like the kind of food that you could buy in other restaurants in the area and we sometimes got some dishes that I had never heard about before. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very formal, and the waiters were much more formal than the waiters I have met in other restaurants.

That is indeed a very good experience i must say. I have been visiting lot of hotels and yes i really look out for the taste they offer. I have been to very big hotels where they serve you wide range of food items but the taste makes you drink just water and return back. Also i have been to some hotels where they cost you very less but their food variety are wide and the taste just lip smacking.

I love to eat in good restaurants but think that restaurant are usually better than the good restaurants they have at 5 star hotels and resorts. There are exceptions though. I remember a very good experience with buffet food at a hyatt hotl several years ago, when my husbandd was alive. Everything was well done and I ate a couple of yummy desserts while my husband could eat fruit for dessert as he had diabetes.
I also remember that the whole dining room and the place where the buffet was was very nicely decorated.
I`m very glad that you had this experience as I can understant it very well

Hi,
I had gone for seminar in the five star hotel in Mumbai named 'The orchid 'The food there was very tasty. Five star hotels are very rich with their furniture, food, staff, hospitality and many things. It was speechless experience for me. I had the chance to go for this hotel twice.

wow a 5 star hotel also provides a traditional foods? It is very briliant thing that would increase tourists to come at your country and also introduce your traditional foods. In Indonesia, all 5 star hotels always provide England breakfast - japanese foods - and also american food. You should be proud that your traditional foods also provided at the hotel.
btw, wide range of baked bread that you have seen - was it a hard one?
