Three books at a time.

I love reading books. I especially go for inspirational along with books that have practical tips. A month ago, I started reading a Bill Hybels book about a relational approach on pointing people towards Jesus. Two weeks ago, I started reading Chinkee Tan's "till debt do us part", a book dealing with practical tips on how to have freedom in debt. Along with these books, I see to it that I also read my Bible. How about you, what books do you read?

Ah...reading... - One of the great pleasures of life.
I love reading books too, although it has to be said I do much of my reading online. But I love to read last thing at night before turning out the light; it relaxes me, and I'm none too happy if I don't have an interesting book to read at night. My favourite kind of book is the biography, and especially the music biography, and to some extent also the movie biography. I buy them at a drastically reduced rate from a music store in a largish town close to me: I'm from a small town near London, England.

Hi and thanks, yes I'm from England. Yes, I've heard of James Herriot: "All Creatures Great and Small"; he's had a lot of success, movies (one starring Anthony Hopkins and others), a TV series. Very successful here :)

"Silent Honor" and "A Heart's Refuge", are the last two books I read, within 25 hours, total. I read...Andy Rooney, Danielle Steel, Nicholas Sparks, Barbara Delinsky, Twilight (need 1, 3 and 4) and about 7 more authors, I am collecting. I don't know if I will be able to ready ALL 12 authors' book collection, throughout my life, but...I feel as long as I read...my Grandmothers' Bible, Andy Rooney, Nicholas Sparks, Danielle Steel and Barbara Delinsky, collections, before my passing, then I've done...well. My brother knows I like Judge Judy, so he bought me a used, Judge Judy, book. I've gotta read her other 3. :) I am NOT religious, but do attend a couple different churches. I like any books that also have movies, too. I like...non-fiction and humor.

I go to Catholic Church in Memory of my Grandmother and my family was raised Catholic. AND United Church of Christ, because I dislike "segregated" churches/races.

With the books you mentioned, I think that's okay to read them three at a time. If it were me, I could only get to read two books at a time, one to be non-fiction and the other to be fiction. But, that's at my most and when I had nothing better to do. As of the moment, I only try to read a book at a time 'cause that way, i get to understand the plot a lot better and get indulged with the book in my own sweet time. I'm usually into novels of different genre and right now, I'm still almost towards the end of Cross Bones by Kathy Reichs.

I am not very fond of novels but had some real good experiences with whatever I had gone through. I often go through ones that are suggested by my colleagues and often find it worthy. These days I am going through psychology books, something into which I have some interest which I would like to take further. I also like reading books that give practical tips than going through fictions stories.

I have recently started going through psychology books as I didn't have much of its access before I entered my college. The library here has a huge collection of psychology books an I also saw some books related to neuro-linguistic program. I am excited that I am getting an access to those books and would like to improve myself in the field.

I also love reading novels. For me, I enjoy reading lots of sci-fi/fantasy novels when I have the time. At most, I have only read two books at once. I usually try to find books that are part of a series. When I reach the end of a novel, I can be both happy and sad. I am happy because the ending of the novel is good. If the book I am reading is not part of a series, then I am sad when I finish the novel because there's no sequel. Besides sci-fi/fantasy novels, on occasion, I also read novels that emphasize on Asian cultures.

Normally, I try to read no more than two books at a time, as sometimes I end up starting over, if I'm reading to many books at once. I do have one started book on my Kindle that I'll have to start over, as my cord had to be replaced to charge my Kindle. I do like inspirational books and really like Andy Rooney.

Right now I am reading "Blue Like Jazz" by Donald Miller, "Not a fan." by Kyle Idleman, "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins, and I am also reading the Bible based on a "one-year-full-reading" plan I didn't finish any of them, but I plan to add to my reading plan "Erasing Hell" and "Crazy Love" by Francis Chan. It is amazing to open a book and to think about what the other books you read say about that subject. It is really a lot better.
