What do you consider on buying a house?

My dad start giving up for selling the house. Actually , beside we need the money, we also don't like the neighbors here, and actually we built this house for building a bussiness in pharmacy too but it went failed due to the d*mn-hard bureaucracy. That's the reason why we sell our house eventhough I love this house, a comfortable house. But it seems like people who tried to buy our house were only the fake ones. They tried to deceive us with any kinds of methods, and we are getting use to it. So I wonder why is this must be so hard for selling this house? All houses and all lands around my places were sold easily... I wonder what do you consider on buying a house?

Actually my house faces to 2 side. The one (which we can use it as a store) faces to the main road , and other side faces to residential road. And we never run out clean water :)

Buying a house is important as it makes your life comfortable in your old age and also it made your asset.People think it is not important and depend on living on rental and they think maintaining property is difficult.

There are many factors to consider when buying a house, buying a house is not like buying potato chips so we need to consider many things like the price, the location, the neighborhood, the future prospect, facilities such as water, telephone line, electricity, etc. My father is looking for a land but it is not easy and he still havent find what he wants, either the location is bad or the price is too high. My father wants to buy a land in village where he can build a traditional joglo house. I think it is a bit out of topic but I can understand your frustration regarding to pharmacy regulation in our city. Well Im sorry you had a hard time with the bureaucrazy, I just dont understand with our bureaucrazy....you know in my street there are already 5 pharmacy stores so close each other, the distance between one to another is less than 500 meters and I think it is not good, why dont the ministry of health do something. My friend who opens a pharmacy store also say the same thing, there are already 3 other pharmacy stores near her store. You seems having problem with the bureaucrazy to open your pharmacy store where other seems like getting their store license so easy. Eh by the way, I thought you are a medical student or pharmacy student...do you study in "elephant university"? I dont mean to be such a nosey person but perhaps we can share experience or memory ^_*

well , actually we have been selling this house for over 1 year, dear. And during that - some houses and lands were sold with high price too - I must say they were so dear . That showed that the location nothing have to be worried ,rite? Ah yes, dear. Pharmacy is quite complicated in here - it is totaly different with Kalimantan , where you could just open it even you haven't prepared to manage the bereaucracy. I love when you said it with Z one No, I'm not studying in elephant. Lol.. I hope I could study in there.. Are you a pharmacy student?

hi there i guess so te important thing to notice is the neighbors as they are the main thing i like in the area becaue you are going to see them and deal with them so if they are bad you have a bad luck and bad days, but if thay are good you are going to like your homes

Well - I don't really understand my neighbors actually. Yes - some of them are mean people , but some of them are great people (dentist, doctor, some bussiness men) . But there are some annoying ones who act like the new comers (like me) are not welcomed - but only if we always agree on what they said even when they have disadvantageously choice for my family. No one could blame them - yes maybe it is the reason why we have been on bad luck - even on selling the house . grrr...thanks, lifes97 :)

I think of things like the location and the schools nearby. And when I look at the house I think of things like the heating and plumbing and wiring. I also think about the location of the bedrooms, because I want to have all the family bedrooms on the same floor. I'd like for a house to have a good kitchen and an open floor plan. I'd like fewer rooms but bigger rooms.

Ummm open floor plan?I'm not sure I got it, do you mean some garden ? like sky dining room ? Ah I see.. ummm family bedrooms are on the same floor makes home feel more secure ,doesn't it? Well, due to the design of my house, we have parents and guest's rooms separated with children rooms. Ummm, what exactly the size do you consider as big room?

My husband and I bought our house a year and a half ago and before we found this house we looked at a lot of different houses. The things that we considered were the price, the location, the size, the need of renovation etc. The price was one of the most of important things because our bank rejected the first houses that we wanted to buy and they thought that they were too expensive. The need of renovation was another very important thing. I lot of the houses that we looked at were in a very bad condition and it would have been too expensive to renovate them. We also saw some houses where we didn't like the location and we decided that we didn't want to live in those neighbourhoods.

Well I will consider the security or safety, the accessibility of the place and the establishments around that are quite needed in everyday life. Also the neighborhood and the peacefulness of the place.

well, before buying a house i think of some important things, like the location of the house, its surroundings, the neighbors to some extent, the market, its transportation facility, roads, car parking, drainage system ,and also the house direction .

Yup - those are the main things to be considered. That's why lands and houses over here were easily sold, especially because the location is on strategic point

Well before buying a house, i look out for the location of the house which is very much crucial in terms of its distance from the market or working place. Besides the cost involved and the neighbors are also important. What say?

Well, my house is near to some universities which it gives another positive point . And yes, my house surrounded by many markets, and it takes only 1-2 minutes to reach some big office building.

hey juliyan, what people are more concern is about the money you guys are asking for, and it also depends how it looks. Does it look too old or dull? Besides the area around it and weather all the basic facilities are there or not like water, electricity easy transportaion, is it near their offices or schools. But more importantly what i the price you are offering? Is it windy? Is it in near by locality with markets and schools? these things i look for when it comes to buy a house.

SAFETY and accessibility. must be this two. THEY must be near to the market and other important place like school (for my daughter). security is important too especially that we are in cities and it's very unsafely here and we filipinos do knew that.so good that my parents even in a very small and ugly house the place is safe and accessible.so it is still good to stay at this house than in a beautiful house but you are afraid to go home at midnight.

If you are coming across fake buyers, it is advisable to go on with a reliable real estate agent in your area. They can help in finding the genuine buyers for buying your home. The important advantage of hiring these agents is that they sell your properties as per your rates. It is important to find reputable and experienced agents for this purpose. They will have the skill of negotiating with the buyer about the prices. This will help in getting the rate at which you want to sell your property. They can also help you with the legal problems involved in the properties. Recently I just came to know about this real estate agency. Their service will be helpful for you. Find them at
real estate for sale and for rent specialising in highfields.
