It's nearly December, my birthday month. :) My birthday is on the first week of December. Today, I bought myself something that I have been meaning to buy for the longest time. My Fujitsu Lifebook has long been dilapidated. I bought myself a new laptop today. :) I am so happy. The money came from hard work from my profession. The more the gift became even more special. :) How about you, what are you planning to buy for yourself on your next birthday?

hi arystine. my birthday was last month and i haven't bought a birthday gift for myself. i'm not the type to buy myself a gift. however, i've been meaning to purchase a new pair of shoes. i might get two pairs of shoes, one gift for my birthday and one gift for christmas. honestly, i would prefer to save the money to invest or even for a vacation, i figure i'd want to get something for myself for a change hence the decision to buy two pairs of shoes. cheers and happy mylotting arystine!

Hello allen0187. I did not get a pricey laptop. But I think I got a good deal. My brother and my husband are the ones who took a look at the specifications of the laptop. I got it below twenty thousand pesos. It's a Lenovo laptop. Thanks for the response!

My birthday has come and gone a couple of months back. Was not able to gift myself anything because I had a lot of expenses to look forward to. Planning to gift myself something for Christmas though. Not yet finalized. Lets see what happens.

Chances are for my birthday I will either buy myself a new tattoo or a new video game or something like that. I tend to buy myself little gifts in return for working hard at college and work. Maybe I'll buy some new clothes or some music equipment as well.

When I was younger, I would want to have every little nice thing you can think of. But I realized that I should put my kids' needs ahead of my needs. On my birthday, I no longer have the urge to buy anything for myself. Just being with the family is enough for me.

I can't wait to have kids of my own. :) I'm sure it would be a great way to spend birthdays.. To be with my husband and kids. This coming birthday I will be having an intimate dinner with my family and in-laws. Thanks for the response. :)

Oh Happy Birthday in advance and you really had a great gift and reward for yourself. Well we really have to reward ourselves even just during our birthday, for all the hardship and hard work that we have done. Well my birthday is quite far from now but what comes in my mind is to buy a wrist watch for myself. Well I dont usually wear watch at all every since but I would like to give it a try.

Thanks for the response. :) yes it is nice to give a gift to oneself for all the hard work. For me, I feel more motivated to work when I see where my money went. I don't usually buy gift for myself, because I use my money to support my family. But this time, my hard work paid off and I have some extra money to buy something that I have been meaning to buy for the longest time. :)

On my birthday , which is still next year , i plan to buy a new Ipanema slipper. Slippers are my passion. I am just a simple man with simple wants in life , no vices nor vanity . Also maybe a set of new gold earrings. Hope i can buy those gifts for myself. If others can't give me a gift , then i will gift myself a gift , who cares ? What do you think ? Is this a good idea ? LOL !

Uhm... I'm not sure, as it's gonna be in June next year, haha! :D It's probably going to be some a bit higher-end make-up (M.A.C. or something from an even higher-end store) and a Yankee Candle... but so many things could happen until then, so I don't know yet :).
