When life is no longer dormant

It happens to all of us. Nothing exciting happens and then out of the blue everything changes adding a spring in our step. This ficus palm which was dormant for months has a new set of leaves now.I saw it this morning when I was walking round my garden which is my pleasant routine. Something similar happens in our life too! We had no help around for some months and that has changed. What has changed in your life? Any new 'set of leaves' in your life too?

You are reminding me I need to check up on my plants which I had to bring inside, including two varieties of ficus, but that is not the "new leaves" in my life. I have been offered more evening work at my job, and have accepted, however it requires that I eventually take action so that I am not doing both morning and evening work. It is with a new client with a different challenge and it is a situation that not everyone can or will work in. So that is one set of new leaves. Part of the desirability of eventually switching to evening work is that the evenings are longer shifts, so I can get enough hours in while actually being present fewer days. That change will take perhaps until February to see accomplished.More new leaves? Well, I still have not gone to iWriter, but that is only because another site I am on is having plenty of work for me and I can even do it while at work in the evenings, if all clients are sleeping. Or I can do it at home and do handwork at work. That brings us back to another advantage of evening hours. I have a personal goal of doing at least one paid article per day besides my regular internet activity. I can be paid out at least once a week and fully intend to be.

You have plenty there to put a spring in your step GG. That is what I call life. Also if circumstances make our life dormant it is left to us to create situations that can break the monotony in our life. You are doing fine. I have watched you here and sometimes wonder at your ability to multi-task.

I need some "new leaves" in my life..a NEW "spring in my step!" Possibly the prodding of a stock prod...something! I have a horrendous case of "winter blues" and in the "bah humbug" stages of festive planning! I really need to step up my game..as my son, soon will be home for the holidays..AND I am NOT ramped up! I need to whip this house into shape...get on with ALL the Christmas baking...OH, Lordy, and that is a list a mile long! I so, when my son was young, set-up traditions unique to our family...(when I was young and full of endless energy)...and those are what my son looks forward to today! SO, PLEASE send me some NEW leaves from your tree of life..

You have tall orders for 'leaves' which this mere mortal cannot fulfil. Tell you son to come down on his needs or tell him to take over!

My dear son...is a tall order (6 foot 4 inches)LOL! And dearheart, if it weren't for him, I would not be here in this cyber world (this computer was my Christmas present 6 years ago)...and living on the rock, two years ago..(NO cable) he introduced me to, and installed satellite T.V. (and paid for it)SOOOO I am, where I am (and thoroughly enjoying it) today because of him...so it's just me, needing a "jolt" to get the program rolling!!

I have understood your position vis-a-vs your son inasmuch he gives you the impetus round whom your life revolves. He is responsible for that spring in your step. He is everything to you. You have enough 'leaves' to keep you going!

You have some amazing plants allknowing.
I suppose the most recent spring in my step is due to my 5 month old granddaughter. When she was born it was like trumpets blown in the night. I laugh more, I look forward to her, and when she smiles her eyes are as bright as the sun.

Not just a spring but skates too I bet!
This plant multiplies so fast that I don't know what to do with them.

The newest thing that has changed in my life is my cousin and her son are living with me. It is a good change though. =-)
I am hoping for some more good change with our financial situation!

Hopes and dreams do become a reality. Just keep on wishing. It is nice that your cousin has brought some freshness in your life!
