In Asian country, most of the people have slant-eyed. In our country they are called "chinito" (men) or "chinita" (women), they are so cute to look at. For some country, it is common to have an eye operations to make it bigger (literal), especially for girls. If you have a child, will you allow them to have the procedure?

I agree, it is not fine to change of what God had given to us. I heard from my friend, it is common in Korea.

I think may be because they have very small eyes that's why they prefer this.

I think any sugery that is not needed should not be done, and all of this changing how your body looks and upgrades to to speak are only showing God how much vanity we have as humans and how bad it has become.

My eyes are big and so I do not need any surgery. I am a happy Filipino with a flat nose, big eyes and moderate size of lips.I feel beautiful then..I can smell, see and feel, I am complete.

hi, if i will go under eye surgery i think i will choose to put a permanent eye liner in my eye lid,and yes most of the teenagers now a days make their eyes Chinita by using of eye liner, and most cute guy are those Chinito too.i would never allow my child to go under in that procedure.

If you're born that way and it is normal I would never have anyone get the operation. That is who the person is. Everyone is different. I think oriental girls are beautiful as they are. So, again, my answer would be no, no operation.

I think if the problem is uneven eyelids, I think it would be okay to have surgery. but if you're doing it solely to satisfy vanity, you shouldn't do it. i think there are so much more possibilities with makeup if you have small eyes that you want to look bigger. the same could not be said for bigger eyes.

By the time my child would be old enough to consider this she or he could make a decision for themself. If my kids had been of Asian heritage I do not believe they would have wanted surgery. I think wanting to change your looks that way is kind of saying that you have no self confidence and do not like who you are.

It is just so risky in my opinion. If it is not necessary, I will never allow my child to have the surgery. Especially the eye surgery to make beautiful eyes are just insane. The natural is always the best. If there is a failure in the surgery, it will become a regret in your whole life. We shall appreciate how we look.

Young Westerner girls have started doing the same, but taping their eyes to try and look Asian. To answer the question: No way. I love those kind of eyes like that. Slanted eyes are very pretty and cute. Does their natural eye cause problems for them? Then I might understand the reason in getting it done.

Hi Shavkat: So it's just for aesthetics reasons? I am not sure. If my child would feel better and the procedure is safe I would agree but after they become adults and can decide about themselves. I would also try teach them to love and respect themselves just the way they are. ALVARO

I agree with most of these Mylotters. Unless my child had an eye problem, I would not allow them to have that procedure.

I believe that every person has the right to make herself look better as she wishes. But going under the knife and to spend that much, I think that is too much. We can enhance our physical featurez by some make up tricks. That would bd enough. But I think tbat the best way to handle this situation is by.accepting what God.has given us and be happy and proud about it.

I would not allow an eye surgery if I have a child especially if it causes no harm to him/herself. If it’s just because she wanted to have big eyes I would suggest, if the child is a girl, to apply an eye liner over her upper eye lid. Doing such will make her eyes look bigger.

I think everyone love beautiful face and body.but frequently most of us are not,so I will have to put on makeup,so if my child love it,i will allow them to do it.

That is kind of vain though isn't it? It's a bit like me wanting to change my upper lip through plastic surgery, because I am so self-conscious about it. Why would they want to change their eyes? I personally think that Chinese and Asian women are very beautiful and slanted eyes makes no difference to their stunning appearance.

If it's a health problem that requires the procedure, I'll go for it but if it's just for cosmetics, like having a boob job or nose lift, then I think I have got other more important things to spend on. Unless I'm in the business of looking good and the operation guaranties that, then that's a given, otherwise, like I said, I'd rather spend on something more important. Besides, I know this operations cost a lot and it's definitely not for everyone, just for those who can afford it.

Until they're adults, no. After they're adults it's their choice and they will be paying for it.

Different countries have different beauty models. I like slanted eyes and I also like almond shaped eyes. I have seen many girls in the US that ask for a nose surgery when they turn 15, That is not usual in my country. I would be happy though, if I had the money, if I could have a plastic surgeon take away some of my belly fat. I don`t much like tattoos either, but that has to do with my age. I bet I`d love them if I were young.
