Thank you for doing the exact thing I asked you not to do

I am a member of a site sort of like this one, not as good by any means, and more of a blogging platform. Now of course I know a few of you will know instantly to which site I refer.
The site allows like sand comments, the more views you can get the better your payout will be as it's a paid per view type of site.
They discourage asking for likes or to connect to a person and to be honest I hate seeing it.
However, it's one of those things where people just do not read anything, they will just comment asking for a connect back or for you to like their stuff as well.
It's annoying, I've asked several times for people to stop. The title of this discussion here is actually what I wrote to someone to whom commented on a post I made about not asking me to like or connect to them by askingme to.
People just do not listen anymore do they?

Merry Christmas to you too!
It's sad people just don't read, they are all for the bucks.

Some people have selective reading! In that they will read what they want to read, the rest they will glaze over. Some people are so wrapped up themselves that they won't stop and think what they are doing is not unwanted, they will go ahead and do it anyway, no rhyme or reason, probably just to annoy you. And there is of course those that don't bother to read your comment or even read the rules of the site, they just go ahead and do as they please!

You are right, they open up posts and jump to the bottom and request you or your feedback. Do you really surprise that they will read what you wrote back to them?

I doubt that they will. Are we talking about the same site GG? I guess we don't have to be because there is someone like that on every site.

Nope, I am not on any site like that, I am just commenting on human nature. With all the days I am going into work it is all I can do is keep up here, and then I do some Freelance work.

Life has become so fast paced and techno friendly that people look for the quickest way to get to whereever they are going. It is rather sad that people do not take any time anymore to evaluate, question or enjoy any given things. All this doesn't mean that you have to act this way. People are going to irritate us all through life. It's a gibben.

Did people ever listen? We are all busy so I scan, rather than read my computer's screen. I know most people scan through rather than read an online article thoroughly. Also, everyone is trying to make money online and so, they will do whatever they think will make them money.
I am a member of a forum money making program and I asked people not to make negative comments which only annoyed many people. I prefer reading and writing something positive, so didn't think that so many people would be annoyed at a request to say something positive.
Anyways, people will do what they want. No point getting upset, just do what you need to do and never mind the rest. All the best to you.

Actually, it isn't like this one. It was designed to be for more substantive articles, but, unfortunately, it has gotten overrun with a lot of one-liners and plagiarists.
Never connect to anyone on there who is looking to trade likes. Those spammers will be getting cleared out. Of course, they will then go onto other platforms (such as this one) and complain of not getting paid and claim that the site is a "scam."

Often with online sites that pay people you are seeing a different type of people. You will always find the spammers and con artists out there who are bent on earning as much as possible even though it breaks the sites rules. Even at MyLot we have people boasting how they open a few accounts and found "loop holes" in the system. It is a pity as good things and sites will close up due to abuse and at the end everyone will suffer because someone wanted a few extra cents. If we were talking large figures here on $100 or so I can understand but why cheat so you can earn an extra 3c? Will your life really change that much for 3c?
This is the reason i stick to surveys online and search for Amazon gift cards as I don't have to deal with anyone else and the pay is good.

I do not know what site you are referring to but I agree with you that people do not listen anymore. I can not even count the times that I have asked or said something to someone and whatever they said back was not an answer to my question or response. Sometimes it is just conversation but other times it has been at the doctor's office or in housing or employment. People are so harried and moving so fast, they are not able to listen attentively.
I screen people, over the phone, for paid market research studies. I, sometimes, take up a lot of time. Often the respondent is multi-tasking and is not paying attention to what I am saying or asking. They respond incorrectly. Sometimes it disqualifies them from being in a paid discussion.
