We need to talk about Kevin

About the mother of Kevin, who massacred a number of his schoolmates one night. What happened after it, and how she raised Kevin... I could never really point out what was wrong with Kevin, he was just so bad against his mom, which made the mom, Eva try harder, but then at some point she just tolerated him and had another child... Maybe Kevin was just trying to get some attention, he was just a boy.. and he was quite scared when he was actually going to be transferred to the adult prison.. I felt really bad especially for Eva, since she also lost her family and everything but the parents of the victims could never forgive her and she just took all the hurt and criticism.

We had a friend whose wife was killed by their son. They had divorced and it was the older son. What a shocker it was too. I think families need to be aware of their children's problems. A little communication goes a long way.

I have watched the movie and I became interested in the story so I decided to read the book as well. I also wonder what happened to Kevin and why he behaved the way that he did. The problems with Kevin started very early, that is the impression that we got from movie and the book, but it is hard to know how those problems started.
It must be a very difficult situation for Eva. She lost her family, and I can't imagine what it is like to lose your husband and your daughter because your own son killed them. The parents of the victims hate her and of course it is easy to understand their anger. I would move very far away from the area if I were her. She will never be able to forget the things that happened, but I think that it would be easier for her to start a new life at a place where she doesn't meet the parents of the victims.

I got this movie but I really don't have the chance to watch it. If it sounds as good as you just pointed out, maybe I should take some time to watch this movie to see how the story goes. Lately I watch a lot of movies during my break at home, some are good, and some are just not as good as others. Thanks for your rating on this movie, and I might take some time to watch it.
