11 month old baby chopped to death by its mother

about two days ago a mother of unsound mind brought her baby to a police station. she told the police that they should take the baby from her and have someone take care of it and if that didnt she was going to kill it. the police men took it as a big joke and did nothing but laugh at her so she brought the baby back home. later that day the mother used a machete to chop the baby in its head and all over its body. the poor little infant died and the mother was locked up. tell me myloters what do you thing, who is to be blamed for this tragically? do you thing to police should have taken the matter more seriously?

I'm sure those police feel very bad about it. I can't lay any blame on their actions though. You know how many times I've heard moms shout at their kids "Little Johnny! You better get in the danged house right now before I ring your neck!" ? of course the "neck ringing" is always an empty threat. They may have thought she was just another frustrated mother and she'd be okay. In the end, its all on the mom. She could have left the baby at the station anyway, or many with a church, ministry group. There were so many other options.

Yes, they should have. Hopefully, this will lead the police force to train their officers for situations like this. Perhaps they should make it a rule that if a woman wants to leave her child there, they have to take it without questions asked.

Any onee would take it a joke when someone says like that!
I only wonder if God really exist inn this world watching such a cruelty!

Well for sure you can't blame the mother because one she did the right thing by going to the police when she knew she was going to to do something and you know what the policed fed up big time by not listening to the mother and her cry for help and for help for the baby. Any time anyone says they are going to hurt a child and brings attention to someone else then that person should listen.

How brutal was that! Why'd kill her own child? I hope there might be a specific reason or maybe she is mentally ill..

well both of them has to be blamed. The mother should a least have a little love inside her heart she had a life she should want the same for her baby... that is a very bad thing

Wow that is really messed up. Yeah, I think the cops should have taken her seriously and either gotten her the appropriate help and not left her alone with the baby or just taken the baby away from her. I think that these men should be fired for what happened to that poor baby. Does that condone the mother for what she did, no it doesn't but I will give her one thing, at least she tried to find some help before doing it. And basically they didn't take her seriously and so therefore she killed her own child. Poor baby poor woman. Now she is in jail.

If this was a true story, then I have to say, the police were the stupid ones. The woman is not of sound mind. Any loving mother would never say such things, much less jest about killing her own child.
Police should make sure of someone's safety no matter how unbelievable the story is. But I guess they are too lazy to even set up precautions. I blame the dumb police. The mother is psycho. At some point, she did try to save the baby from herself... no one else cooperated though.

Where is the father of the baby? And the family of the mother.. if that's the case in the first place why did the she had a child if she has an intellectual condition.. and she should not be left alone with a baby if she has a mind condition.. since I don't know where is the family of the girl based on your stories the police should take the blame because they ignore the gir.. even it may sound a joke everything should take it seriously so they won't regret doing nothing..
