Do you believe in ghosts? (Why are some people so narrow minded?)

I strongly believe on ghosts. I am not saying this because i saw some movies and all. But this is my own cold experience. I have been into this trap of paranormal things happening to me since a very long time. I can feel someone touching me. Or i feel their hands on my face, neck. It is not a dream for sure. You can't get such dreams for all the 3 or 4 years of your life. I stop my breath and i shout in my sleep. But the thing is no one hears me. I have asked my sister when i got up that can she hear me shouting to her to save me and wake me up otherwise i would die in my sleep? she says she never hears me calling her. I have tried a lot to be in my sleep and see what is the end, but i have to force myself because i can't breath and i start sweating. Sometimes i get clinched teeth and there is someone roaring at me. I can clearly hear the roars. It is said until you see you won't believe. I give a darn to nerds who say they don't believe in ghosts. I have seen more than what i have explained. I can't tell it because i fear it will haunt me for this again.

Narrow minded? Do you believe in Zombies? Lava monsters? Magic? God? We humans created many imaginary friends and monsters, just to colour our simple lives.

Welcome to mylot Every thing can't be proved by science, not even existence of god but most believe in existence of god, may be we call with different names; similarly existence of ghosts/spirits can't be proved , but they do exist in a different plane; most are harmless, i believe in them, have seen them, 2 ghosts live in a tree in my home

People do not believe anything unless they have seen proof. And since not all have since ghosts and spirits, they would often associate it to craziness or just an illusion.

People tend to only believe things that are scientifically proven nowadays. The fact is, we cannot reject everything that is not scientifically proven. As some things cannot be proved yet they really exist. Perhaps one day the technology will be advance enough to prove that such thing does exist. But I don't need to wait until then in order to believe. For that I have seen these things before and I am very sure that what I've seen was real, not mere imagination.

it depends on the definition of ghost itself. If you mean a human spirit after die, then it might be possible. As in science, i remember the law of energy that 'Energy cannot be created or destroyed, it can only be changed from one form to another', so i think its just another form of energy and in fact we're all just a form of energy.

Yes I do believe in ghost if I didn't then I would have to try to figure other solution for what goes on my house all the time you can walkin the kitchen an all the cabinet doors would be open an I have had picture just fall off the wall an we took a picture of my daughter an yes there was a boy in the picture he looked maybe 8 we nicknamed him David an when we walk in the kitchen an something starts falling or the doors start opening we say ok David thats enough an yes it dose stop crazy huhh

I think some people insists that ghosts don't exist because it's so scary. For instance, last week when I was sleeping something fell off the shelf and made a loud noise. I rather think that the item was misplaced rather than there was a ghost there knocking it down while I sleep. However, I am willing to believe in ghosts mainly because I'm a big fan of horror movies.

If you say believe ..it is difficult to say yes. If you ask do you think there is a possibility of such paranormal activities..then we will say yes.. Belief is based on the present knowledge..and that does not mean we are not open minded. It merely means that in the absence of evidence, we have concluded in a particular way, but like all knowledge even this can change. :) And coming to a greater detail...there are some ghost busters who have mentioned that we at times perceive some sounds and lights which are not normally perceived by us. Because we are mentally conditioned to expect such things, through books, and television serials and stories, those things are stored in one corner of our brain, and the ultrasound or whatever it is, triggers that area of our brain...making us hallucinate...we see images that are actually generated by our brain! And we hear sounds again created by our brain! So it is just what we are not designed to absorb that can start such things. And while some things like that may have been recorded ..it goes to prove that it is indeed variation in sound and light and smell effect and even temperature effect that can cause such hallucinations. Such sounds can come from anything...like the researcher was saying...when we strum a guitar...the vibrations create a sound which is loud at first and then it slowly becomes faint till it is heard no more. The last sound is something that we dont hear, but perhaps animals do. That can cause animal like alertness in us ...if we by some abnormality happen to hear it. I found that quite reasonable explanation for a while. Given this reasoning, I dont think I can stay in any haunted house. I would get a heart attack thanks to my brain. :)

Yes, they do exist and people who don't believe that ghosts exist, they are not narrow minded, it's just that they have never experienced it or may be they are unable to understand this phenomena of nature. Not everyone can understand everything..

I definitely believe its possible. I was more open to it years ago than I am now but I never would close my mind to any possibility. I wouldn't say I'm a believer in it but I would say I believe it is possible. There are plenty of unexplainable things that happen so this could be one of them. I still love ghost stories and it doesn't stop my enjoyment of them.

May be its a matter of some super psychology that has not been discovered. Nature has some power that can affect our mind. And yes our people sometimes suffer from some natural power. As if the affected peoples minds are occupied with something else due to which they start behaving abnormally. We cant deny this invisible entity. Rather our scientists or psychologists should explore into it.

I believed in ghost. I had seen one, a white lady walking on the mountain trail. It can be validate since I am with mys sister when we travel going back to out home town. It is spooky to see in reality, so I believed that they exist.

I absolutely believe the existence of God which corresponds to the existence of ghosts( also known as the "devil" in Christian world ). There are certain things which you believe, but it's not always necessary you must have to see it, sometimes you can feel their existence directly or indirectly. I'm a believer in Christ and I have experienced many miracles in my life through Him, doesn't necessarily I have to see Him infront of my eyes to verify He exists. Same goes for Ghosts, even though personally I haven't encountered any of those but they really do.
