I have many friends too here in mylot.I met some of them here on mylot when they commented on a given discussion and or he/she participated in a discussion that I have posted.I did that so that I will be able to expand my interests and be able to comment to topics and discussions which may be not on my interest list this way I can add another interest on my list and I earned a friend too.

I have a very nice collection of friends on my list. Ones I have known for many years. If I see a Mylot member in a discussion and I like their comments and see them several times around the site I may send them a freinds request. I don't do it very often but I have in the past.

I can say, mylot is far way different from facebook. And this comparison has been discussed all over again in here, as I have observed in my stay here... Anyways, you can tell what's on your mind in both sites but, I tell you, it's more fun being in here even if you don't have anyone you know personally. Well, we can learn from people from all over the world and we can tell our feelings at times that we can't even say personally to others. We can ask questions which sometimes we find it hard to ask to other people in person. DO you agree? It's a good way to earn money as well, which you can't find in facebook...

I do approve all those friend requests I get in here, but in facebook, I do visit the profile first before I decide on approving them or not. I don't really add friends on facebook, but in here, I approve all those requests. Unless I find that person scamming or irritating and such... We can be friends in here even if we don't know each other personally. I think people can understand more by sharing ideas and interests using discussions in here. Cause in facebook, you only get to have communications with those who you really know personally. It's just about having trust. Sometimes, you still have to protect something specially when sharing to others.

Mylot is very different from other sites because here, when we request to be connected to them, it is because we are interested with the kind of discussions or comments that the member creates.

Recently I am making more requests for friendship to Mylotees who make discussions or responses in fields that I too have interest. My main aim is to utilize MyLot e-mail message feature so that any discussions started by these friends reach to me soon. I make more consideration to MyLotees from my nation [India]. I already have some good friends near my state and it seems that even personal meetings are possible with these friends. I thanks to MyLot for providing this great feature.

that number is actually no. of posts made by the member, it has no role in sending or accepting friend request, you can send friend request to any member you want even with zero no. of posts..

Yes, I accept friend requests from a lot of different people in here. I usually will take time to respond back to anyone here as it does not matter if you're new. This is a great place to be and meet and make new friends from all over.

That is the specialty of mylot. We will get quick ideas about a person on reading his/her posts. I too don’t hesitate to accept a friend request in mylot. I added many people in the beginning of my mylot life and I stopped after a particular period. But I never denied any Friend request so far. In the meantime I am not getting enough time for mylot. The more friends you have in mylot means the more chances of participation. But you must have plenty of time for spending here in mylot.

I accept all friend requests here in mylot. I think it's just better that way to have many friends here. I invite those with interesting avatars and those whose comment are intelligent and nice. I want to have many friends here as much as possible.

For me, the first thing I consider is the kind of posts the person has and secondly when he's from the same country as mine. I don't know anyone personally here, but I like to read other people's posts regardless if we're friends or not and I comment on the posts that interests me and eventually send them friend request.
