it's such a long drawn out month, because there are no holidays where you get days off of school or work over here. march has always been a month when bad things happen, too. i hate march and i can't wait until it is over with. i hope all goes well in march and it goes fast. next month is spring break!

The only thing I don't like about March is that it's always a very windy Month here in Vegas other than that I like March. It's the beginning of Spring in March, my Birthday is in March, I get my taxes back and I take 10 days off vacation at the last week of March

Well...let me take this opportunity, to wish you a "Very Happy Birthday"...as I will be having one too? Are you Aries or Pisces? I love March...not just because of birthday...More so, the excitement that spring brings...here where I live, an Island off the west coast of B.C. (Canada) March heralds a new beginning...the spring flowers are glorious, and a month where I get to breathe the wonderful outdoor air...after being couped up for the winter. I'll take March, anytime..it is so filled with anticipation! Cheers!

I am not too thrilled with March here either. March and April here are windy and rainy. I don't mind some light rain but when it rains continually for days it does tend to get old.

I don't mind March, it's the beginning of Spring and all the flowers start re-appearing, it's still not too hot, I hate the Summer. It's my mum's 70th birthday this month! The clocks go forward so it becomes lighter in the evening, and there's less chance of snow too. There is the Easter holidays at the end of March, it's early this year. I hate July and August because they are part of the Summer which I detest.

Thank you, it's good we are all different. I have depression and my moods crash badly in the Summer months, I just can't tolerate the heat.

Sorry...wolfie..but I LOVE summer, it is the time I reap the rewards of what I have sown. Can't wait to bite into a cucumber/tomato/pepper just picked from the vine, or pop a Nasturtium seed into my mouth for a hit of peppery flavour, or their leaves in my Salad... Happy Birthday..to your dear Mother..this month heralds my birthday, too!

Hello, I too love summer better than winter, because on summers we have hot weather and we can go to beach almost everyday. And school too is closed, but I have job anyway. But, like you said before we have different tastes so It's just typical.

Saint Patrick's Day is on March 17th. I like it cause I am Irish. We always make cornedbeef and cabbage sometime during the month. Love it! And I don't care for the wind of Spring but that is all I dislike about March.

Dear celtic....I am NOT Irish...BUT you can serve me corned Beef and Cabbage...anytime, anywhere and OFTEN! LOL! I have made several attempts to make my own corned beef (a bit of a task) but for some odd reason..it just doesn't seem to tally up! And you should have seen the look on the Pharmacists face when I asked to buy Saltpetre..(only available in Pharmacies in B.C.)...she could just NOT keep from asking me what my use was..LOL, and I think she was preparing herself for a raunchy story!

In our country Philippines, it is very hot when March is coming that is the reason why they called it or there is a program about Fire Prevention Month. Usually we are encountering bunches of houses that are in fire especially in Manila area every month of March.

Well, March is really what you make it. For most adults, it is a long month unless you have already turned in your Income Tax and get your refund. It does seem like a longer month a lot of the time as it does follow February which is the shortest month. But usually for me it is a month I know soon the warmer weather will come, and things will usually start falling into place more for the yr.

I wish that yesterdays warmer weather could have continued. The sky looked more blue that usual as well. This morning it was shockingly icy and cold again. It is a shame March is a month when bad things happen. In addition it is 2013. I know 13 is meant to be an unlucky number. Do you like spring break? My mom's milestone birthday is later this month. She is going to become 80 years old. It is Mother's Day on Sunday 10th March in my home country. I will buy my mom some flowers and take her own for tea. In a few weeks it will be the Easter holidays.

I'm looking forward to spring too. Right now were sitting on about 12in of snow on the ground and once in a while we are thankful to see the sun peek thru. That sunshine certainly picks up ones spirits! Well Easter is at the end of the month or beginning of April so my middle is already bugging asking how many more days til Easter. I don't even want to think about it.

Hello Moon Gypsy, March here means a local holiday "Martisor" where girls (and in some parts of the country boys) receive specific gifts with a red and white ribbon. Then there is Mother's Day / Women Day on the 8th of the Month where the ladies receive flowers. The Catholic Easter is at the end of this month this year, although no vacation will be happening as Romania is mostly an orthodox country. March is here the beginning of Spring in normal cases, where weather becomes warmer and we get to see new flowers and more sunny days.

In our country, we have this year's Holy Thursday and Good Friday on March as part of the Lenten season. So we can enjoy 2 holidays. This is aside from the fact that this will be the end of the school year so I would be free from school related expenses. So, for me March is a good month. Well, every month for me is a good month actually. Have a great day!

sorry with your tantrums about march thing. but i guess, i am excited with march it is because i will be graduating this month. although i am struggling a bit because of my school requirements, but i know i need to comply this all for this is just for my own good. so i keep on going and control myself to be happy even all through this because i really hate practice teaching activities and making lesson plans. it is alright, it is just a month, time will not be stop and soon another month will take its place. just do not think and internalize it so much, you will just realize unnoticingly that. just keep it going ;)

I don’t really hate March. In fact there are 2 days of holiday in my country. But no long holidays in March. But it has no effect on me because my job is in bank and even in Christmas I only have 1 day of holiday. Well I hope March is going on well and hope the best for all the people too.

Sorry, MoonGypsy...but I just love March, for all the promises it brings, at least in my part of the world! March heralds Spring, and I just love each day, as I take time to scour my gardens and see the Daffodils, about to bloom, the Crocuses already blooming..the knowing that the Hyacinths will soon bloom and fill the air with their heady perfume. March is the month I have looked forward to all winter, as I have scoured Plant/seed catalogues...for this year's crop. March is the month, I can start hardening off all the plants that I have started indoors...and furthermore, March is my birthday!

Hello, Sad to hear that March to you associated with bad things and with bad thoughts. I too study and at weekends I am working so I am pretty tired so I can fully understand you. Hmm I thin this year all months goes so fast so March too will end fast. And on April and March I will have name day and birthday + exams. P.S. With me bad things happen only in 13th black Friday.

Hi friend, sad to know that you hate March. As you mentioned there is no holidays in March as well as it is the time for school exams, so most of the students don't like this month. Hope every one is having a different March in this time.

I quite enjoy March because it means that February has gone. It is said to come in like a lion and go out like a lamb and I have observed some truth in that. March is still quite cold in the UK but seven years ago I left England on 1st March, drove through snow and cold weather, caught a boat to Greece and arrived on 4th March and it was so warm it was like another planet. That has kind of changed my mind about March, now I feel optimistic and here at least Spring is just around the corner, when the sun shines it actually feels as though it has arrived. The other good thing about March is that this is the month in which I was born. So regardless of the weather there is always something to celebrate.

I hate March, too, because just as it was starting to get light at 7 am, we will now spring ahead a month earlier, and be cast back in darkness.
