Yesterday while we were sitting in the park with my daughter,a man came and sat next to us.We were enjoying a quiet evening reading books but the man started to talk on his phone in a loud voice.Everybody around stopped their reading or looked at the man because he was talking in a loud voice and causing nuisance to all.He talked non-stop and with loud laughter and gestures he was really spoiling our reading mood. Finally we got up from our place to find another nook where we could relax in silence.Should we create nuisance in public place with our mobile appliance like these?

Hi I agree people these days talk endlessly on the phone even in parks roads or bus anything. I don't understand what is such emergency which don't allow those people to go home and talk relaxingly. I really dont like such kind of people who hang out with phone all the time creating some nuisance .

Hey rubyroy, definitley not. nobody should create nuisance in public palce with their mobile phone. It is super super irritating and annoying. Especially when you guys are in a park trying to relax and enjoy the moment. HOweve,r there are just some people out there who are so insensitive to such things.

exactly. there are some places like the library. I think it's quite a common knowledge that library is a place where people study and do some quiet reading. however, there are some people who take the library as their playgrond. that is only one example. and even in parks or nature places, we should be quiet to enjoy the moment and the place.

talking using the mobile phones is just not good. i have tried it many times. and the signal is just not good that you have to shout. and on the other hand, you will let the others shout as well. maybe the area where he was do not have a good signal. but considering that it is a park, then i think maybe the person have hearing problem? or maybe that his phone is defective. there are a lot of reasons too. another is maybe he was just too excited about the person he is talking to. hehe

I ran into a similiar situation but I happened to be alone... I was walking my dog in a park... It was early afternoon & I was surprised there was no one at the park... So I let my dog run around a bit & I sat down at a bench... About 2 minutes later, a lady sits next to me, of all the benches in the whole park with nobody around, she decides to sit next to me... Then she takes her cell phone out & calls someone, starts talking really loud... It went on for about 5 minutes so I decided to take mine out, start talking really loud & start cursing, too... "There's this F**ing lady sitting next to me talking really f**ing loud & I can't hear a f***ing thing you're saying... Can you talk louder so I can't hear over this f***ing lady's voice?" I was literally screaming into my phone looking straight at her... Then my dog heard me screaming so he runs over, starts growling at her... She sortta looked at me for a second & got up & left...

Thanks for sharing Such things are so common these days, the way some shout is enough to reach the person half a kilometer away Some will sit near you and play songs at full volume using the cell phone. I dislike this totally.

Thanks friends for your sincere response, now a days there is no place where you can enjoy solitude because somebody is either enjoying loud music or talking loud on the mobile phone without consideration for others privacy and solitude.

I will have to admit that my voice really carries, so in order to avoid anyone hearing me, I will talk at home where it doesn't matter. and when I am done, then go out and do what I need to do, that way, I wouldn't have to worry about my phone ringing or talking so loud that others can hear me. I only talk to my daughter everyday, and she usually calls at the same time everyday, so I just wait until I get donw talking to her, and then I will do the errands that I need to do. Besides, I get them done quicker when I am not talking on the phone anyway. I do agree that it is rude to talk on the cellphone so loud that others can hear a person. At least I have come to the decision to not take my phone or get my talking done before i go. Take care, and have a very good day.

Hi rubyroy, It is so frustrating and annoying to meet such inconsiderate people. I guess there's really nothing much one can do as it is a free country and he is free to talk on his mobile in a public area (except in the library or other such places). Such people should be educated not to annoy others by their inconsiderate acts or until and unless there's a law to prohibit this. Have a good day.

Some people are just so inconsiderate or really have no breeding and good graces. Mobiles are so sensitive , you don't need to shout , you'll be heard by person whom your calling . Good manners is so important to a person , it will tell how educated and value laden you are. I guess this person maybe is not aware that his voice is very loud . He needs to be told . If i got a close friend who is doing same i won't hesitate , i will really tell her because sometimes we are not aware unless being told.
