What I'll Do Now That MyLot is Changing and my Health May be Changing

First, I'll also be copying anything I've written that I want to save, just in case MyLot disappears, which I hope it won't.
I'll work on my website more, since I've been neglecting it to earn easy money on Bubblews.
I'll continue to check in here every few days, since I promised my MyLot friends I wasn't going anywhere. The thing that would prevent that is if I have to have neurosurgery on my neck. I'm in danger of possible paralysis if I don't have surgery, but the surgery itself is risky. But if I can still use a computer, I'll continue to check in.
I will take advantage of Bubblews earnings while they last, and give second place to other writing sites like Squidoo and HubPages. I suspect these great earnings won't last forever. If it's no longer worth my while, I'll go back to the other sites more often and continue to submit to them occasionally. I might even catch up on my blogs.
My biggest concern right now is the book business and changes on selling sites that might affect me. I suspect that the government is going to make it harder for all businesses in the United States to stay solvent. It would not surprise me if government regulations of some kind might be part of the reason myLot has had to make changes.

Thank you very much. I'm going to expect the best and take what God gives me. Maybe I won't even be advised by the surgeon to have the surgery. At least two doctors think that my still being able to walk is already a miracle.

I'm still hoping I won't have to have the neck surgery, but I do have to have oral surgery on May 14. I see the neurosurgeon for the consultation on the 24th. In between I have dental work to finish. Life is fun

Still hoping it won't be necessary, but next week I'll be having oral surgery. Trying to catch up on all dental stuff, just in case.

I know we have to deal with changes in our lives and nothing stays the same, but it's trying to adapt to them and seeing the positives, even though at the time we think there isn't any. It was a sad day indeed for most on Mylot, and it will be interesting to see what happens when Mylot make the changes and fully implement them to see who does stick around. I understand your reservation about the surgery, it's not an easy decision to make, I have tried to add you on facebook, but on your page it says follow not add friend, but I have found you!!!

It wasn't easy to find you, but I sent a request to the name in London because that's what your city was in your profile here. Maybe another person in London has your name, too.

Hope that your surgery goes well, even though I don't know you in person we are all friends here so yeah I will pray for you, I pray that everything will go smooth with your operation and that you can get back to online work in a short while.
To be honest, I am disappointed when I learned that this site is not going to pay anymore, effective with whatever the date that the new website goes live. I have 9.80 in my account, which is 20 cents to go for pay eligibility. I am not sure if I can get the payment, but if it's still paying I hope I will hit the magic number 10 tonight.
I also hope that this site will still pay me as my earning has reached higher than 5 dollars.

Thank you for your prayers. I think we are in the same boat about being paid. My payout here is set at $10.00 and I now have 9.14. Since we are both over $5.00, I would expect we would be paid. That would be nice.

I will pray for you, that the surgery is successful and you emerge whole and healthy!
btw, your tutorial did help me but I still had questions--don't ask me what, because I've put them out of my mind. A site that doesn't care enough to have a comprehensive FAQ may not be worth my time. It appears that people copy/paste news stories, for the most part.

Thank you for your prayers. I'm trying to just be thankful for every day of normal life I have left and hope all my days will be normal.
Just as MyLot is changing, Bubblews is also releasing its new version late this month which we are told will be much better. I hope so. There is a real anti-plagiarism drive on among the members right now and these who copy and paste are being reported. They don't get paid and will be disappearing from the site as Bubblews staff finds them out. Original writing will triumph and the plagiarists will get kicked off. It my be that a more comprehensive FAQ will come after the new version. meanwhile, the money is good and the sort of writing I can do there is very natural to me.

Hello bagarad. With the coming change of mylot, I am afraid that there will be also a lot of changes to mylotters here. But whatever changes it may be, I will still come here for a visit and read my friends' discussions.

It's quite addicting to see your bank balance go up everyday. I'm anxious to to see what the next version of Bubblews looks like, because it's supposed to be even better. Hope it won't be as disappointing as the new myLot.

Thanks, Professor I have already responded to your PM. The money one could earn here was not enough to be my prime motivation, but looking back at old conversations here, I'm reminded at how much of myself is invested in this site and in the friends I have made here. I do need to earn money, and I can do that on other sites. But I could also do that before and it didn't keep me away from here.
