Catching Up

Many of you know me from a couple of years ago. A lot has happened. In that time I got congestive heart failure. I'm on hospice now due to my breathing problems. I can't walk more than a few steps and regular activities of daily living are impossible. I have a nurses aide come to help me three times a week.
I don't feel bad for myself. I get tearful sometimes, but for the most part I am in good spirits. I know there are people worse off than me, so I have nothing to feel bad about.
This is not a sympathy post. I don't want that at all. I just want my friends from a couple of media sites to know what's up.
My health is not good, but I think I have more good days than bad.

Thank you GG. It's really hard to stay engaged with people because I stay so fatigued from the CHF and shortness of breath. I love company though and when I can participate with online friends I get that same sense of having company.

@allknowing yes I believe that attitude is everything. If I wallow in self pity I'm no good to myself or anyone. I love sharing my life.

I hope so too Dawn. I had a little scare this afternoon. I fell asleep and aspirated stomach contents into my lungs. My daughter worked with me a long time and then gave me a breathing treatment.
