Had a good breakfast

My daughter controls my food intake because I am immobile for the most part. She said I like too much bread and she isn't going to let me have it. She doesn't take it all away from me because that would be upsetting to me. So this morning I had one toast with jam and a banana, a kiwi and a clementine orange. It was good. I drank water instead of tea because of the swelling I have. The swelling is bad and I don't think plain water helps. I also drink gate raise because I need the electrolytes. My daughter takes really good care of me.

The proper diet is very important to our health. Believe me. Your daughter is right about the bread. It is no good for you, especially being mobilized. I have bread sometimes, although I am not supposed to.

Yes. I still eat it but not like before. I will have a roast beef and pickle sandwich for lunch and fruit.

@OreoBrownie I hear you on that. It all comes down to sugar really. It seems that sugar is the killer of all people in some form or another. Whether it be from cakes and candies to coffee or to carbs like bread and pasta. The body craves it once it has it. Well, you enjoy your lunch. I mainly skip lunch.

I always heard that cucumbers would help reduce swelling. I hope you get it down. Enjoy the fruit.

I don't have dukes but maybe u will get some when my family goes out again. My swelling is about half better now by eating fruit and drinking Gatorade. The electrolutes are sorely needed.

toast and jam is great for breakfast. I'll skip the banana as I do not eat that fruit. Good to know that your daughter is taking good care of you. She definitely wants to look after your welfare.

Glad to hear your daughter is taking care of you. SmilePie was wondering how you were doing. I know, bread is delicious but it's not good to have too much of it.

I love the Lemon-Lime Gatorade. I guess I shouldn't eat much bread and such either. I wish I could have a better breakfast. I would like to have big breakfast and then smaller meals for lunch and dinner. Am lucky to get anything and if my daughter isn't hear I go with out until dinner and even then at times. Glad yours is taking good care of you.
