I am Sammy Hagar's Mother. Yah, I know, you do not believe that at all. I have never been very much on the contemporary rock scene. I knew nothing of Sammy Hagar, until my daughter was about four years old. You see, my first husband's last name was Hagar. So my two kids are both Hagar children. My son is Vincent . My daughter was Samantha aka Sammy . When she was about four I learned of the Red Rocker, and she became Sammie . The older brothers of her best friend delighted in teasing her about this. No longer is she a Hagar, she has married. She goes by Sam for a first name. Seeing the Lamb or SGT posting so much about Sammy Hagar I just could not resist this startling revelation. Of course my daughter is much prettier than the rock singer.
