I was earning weekly on oDesk - I was. Now I don't. Now I do earn from a call review sites not weekly though because of my work.

I am working with some online sites that are considered as good sources of income. Actually there many sites around but we have to consider our time as well. Writing sites are still one of the best sources of income.

@mksvalue If you are a risk taker, you can try investment. I also have some investments but this is really very risky but the earning is good.

Writing sites are still making some money for me but not as much as last time. Seriously, in order to make good and substantial income, you have to sell things.

@tiffnkeat mobile phone accessories and trendy items based on what I think would sell locally on Classified Sites.
The writing sites are still earning some monies but revenues from blogs and articles have decreased tremendously. Quite a small residual amount per month is earned.

Are you still with writing sites? I stopped writing too when I last stopped myLot. My pages at Triond and Wikinut are not even maintained anymore.
What do you sell online? Need partnership?

I know many sites, but the payments depends only the your earnings.
Because is necessary that you have the minimum to cashout to request the payment.

There are websites really give money 
. Clixsense Pays weekly , Superpay.me pays daily , Mouthshut.com pays fortnightly 
from this discussion I come to know that Odesk , fiverr , freelancer , pays weekly . I think iWriter & scripted are the sites for Writers that pay according to our option

Not much around anymore. I get asked to write for some freelancing sites occasionally and get paid that week for my work. This doesn't happen often enough though.
