Trump for President?

Donald Trump is still the front runner as the Republican candidate for president. More and more it looks like the next election could come down to a Clinton vs Trump race. Many people like his stance on illegal immigrants it seems, and his no nonsense attitude. Personally, I think its outrageous that he is remaining as popular as he is! The man is a loose cannon! If he were elected president, I'm pretty sure he would say something that would get America nuked off the planet within his first 30 days in office. If he gets elected, I'm moving to Cuba - it would be safer! What do you think of Donald Trump and his run for president?

I think that he likes his time in the limelight that the press seems to want to put him in. I hope that people see him for what he is, and not a politician.

I think he stirs things up well. He shames some people who are really politicians, but I just do not believe he will take office. I hope he drives some others out as well as insisting on some real answers.

I don't see him as a Public Servant Materials, Im sure he enjoys the show and popularity. But you know the dangers of voting a celebrity and a businessman, they may end up being manipulated. Have a Nice Day

I agree with GardenGerty. He is certainly keeping us all entertained, but I don't think that he will end up in the WhiteHouse. But he has surprised me so far, so who knows lol!

Would be really funny if he actually becomes a serious contender. Or at least funny to people outside the U.S , not sure for people actually living there. not like people need any more reasons to nuke everything

No.....just.....no. Trump's only good purpose in this election (and I'm convinced it was accidental)) is to point out how absurd our election process has become and how dumb our electorate has become. Trump's campaign is almost a parody of itself. Hell, trump himself is a parody of himself.

The electorate's not "dumb," it's people are just 'not in an optimal position to see what's best for The People.' I think "those with the power to elect our representatives" should have 'absolutely nothing else to do with our country' ... that way they can only judge the candidates by 'the helpful influence the candidates have had,' and not 'the fear that the WRONG candidate would turn our economy worse.' To keep us 'democratic' (which BTW America STOPS BEING after the officers are elected), the people who elect OUR leaders could let us elect THEIR leaders. And--so long as both groups agree to elect the "righteous" leaders ("by their fruit will you know them")--we'll be well-led.

I think he'd be a good president but then again his presidency might cause China to become the next superpower. Who knows...

I am not an American and I don't know too much about Donald Trump neither. But if he gets elected, that means the majority of Americans want him, so he reflects the will of the majority.

I am not sure a person that is so free with such silly remarks is suitable to be a leader of a country. Maybe some people may take it as just being honest and blunt, but as a leader, one just have to be careful with what he/she says in order not to hurt other people's feelings. America is too important for this world to have such quality of people to be the president.

I don't think he should be running. At first when I found out that he was running, I thought it was a joke. But the things that he's been saying are unprofessional and I don't think people would vote for him.

I think he will cause a problem if he runs, and his stance of being a Democrat and then a republican makes me suspicious of his agenda.

If Trump wins the Republican nomination, I will vote for him because this country will be doomed if Hillary wins!

I agree. I think Trump is a nut job here. He would be the one president that would have single handedly destroyed america. He is too dangerous to have in the white house. I think his steam will die down at some point. Look, the republicans don't have anyone that is worth looking at for president, I see that plainly. But Trump is evil in his own right. And his own party is looking to eliminate him.

I don't want him to be 'the face of America,' but I'm sure that whoever we elect will highly-value his advice.

Donald Trump likes to run the show. You think Congress is bad at getting things done. It would be worse with him in office. He is not totally stupid, but he alienates a lot of people by what he says and does. I think that is really his appeal. He is not the status quo. We do need something different, because things are not working. But, he is not the answer.

I am not trying to sound like I am choosing side but I think he is certainly not the ideal person to become president
