American Horror Story has announced what its next season will be about..

The fifth season of American Horror Story will be AHS:Hotel. Should be entertaining. I try every season to figure out where they might go with the anthology that Ryan Murphy started back four seasons ago with the "Murder House " debut of the series. Then the "Asylum', "Coven" and last seasons "Freak Show" followed and I never figured it out. I can't choose which was my favorite either. Each one had such extreme storylines.
The series has gotten over twenty Emmy Award nominations. It has become FX's most watched program ever. It hits on a lot of genres being a erotic thriller, horror, sci-fi, drama,fantasy, thriller, suspense, mystery. It won't be back on until October. Sarah Paulson is the only actor I am sure will back this season. I wish Kathy Bates and Jessica Lange would be back too. They were so great. Evan Peters is usually in it and he is very good. It's on FX and is produced by Twentieth Century Fox Television.
*Update. I guess Kathy Bates and Chloe Sevigny will be back this season. Yeah!

@celticeagle Exactly! Sometimes they do seem to go a little out there but I just can't turn away as it just intrigues me.

I can't wait..Love this show..The last one freak..was kinda scary in the sense of weird especially the clown..I do not like Clowns..
I'm not going to even think motel hotel like Bates for the next one..

Love it too. One of the highlights of my week when it is on. I'm not real fond of clowns because of shows like this one. Ugh! No, Bates Motel is a completely different show on A&E. LOL

I heard Lady Gaga would be on it and Jessica Lange won't return. I'm not sure if I'll be as pumped up for this new one.
I've watched the previous 4 seasons and I still think the first season is the best one although the 2nd one has its "charms".

Yeah, I've watched all the seasons too and every season is unique.. that is what i like about it. It's like a mini-series, so people won't get bored. I didn't like the Freak Show that much though, it started out good, but i think Coven became even better than Freak Show - by the end. Although i love the ending thy gave to Elsa Mars and the heartbreaking story of Pepper
