Because he is recovering from surgery hubby is upstairs napping. My plan was to nap in the recliner. However I have had three phone calls and someone to the door during this time.
I try to get an occasional nap because I sleep poorly at night. It seems to help me cope.
I am really dragging. Hope you have more energy than I do.

It is forty miles to our new house. I often sleep while we drive there with a load. I am doing almost all the lifting and loading.

I will probably nap in the car today if we take a load to the new house. I often sleep when he drives.

I have definitely been tempted. It is quiet today. I did get a nap today. Until I started coughing.

They used to take bets on how many minutes of a show or movie I would be awake for.

Sorry you didn't get your nap. I hate when that happens. You end up feeling even more tired when you try to nap but can't. I'm looking forward to the weekend when I get a bit of time off so I can relax!

I guess I do not know where you work but if it lets you be off on the weekends that is great.

@katsmeow1213 yep, I missed it. I remember you working at Subway, then a bank, then not working for a while. One of your discussions mentioned a girl messing up your station and I wondered if that meant a station like at a beauty salon. I am almost up to speed. Your hubby was looking for a different job, too.

@GardenGerty I told you the other day in a different discussion, you must have missed it. I work at a credit union as a teller.

Oh I do the napping too whenever I lack sleep and have to be elsewhere in a few hours. I especially like it when it is traffic and the place is a bit far so I can sleep a little on the way.
It's a better way to spend my time while in traffic.
I hope everything gets better soon for you and your husband. :)

I have not had any knocks on the door which could be really a disturbing factor. I am not a day time sleeper except may be a short siesta after lunch. My night time sleep is pretty good.

I usually am up really early, and stay up late. A nap helps.

I was doing good this morning, but now I am incredibly sleepy. I don't think I'll be able to get a nap in though with the kids here.

I never did get one, not even when we were driving today. It is hard to do anything for yourself or on your own when you have little ones. My daughter has four and we went and babysat them for a week so she and her hubby could celebrate their tenth anniversary, a year late.
