Went to Open Air Market and Festival

After church today we went to the Open Air Market and Festival on the grounds of a local historic mansion. It was 85 degrees and humid and the sun was baking my brains which probably explains why I bough a great new hat. It is hand crocheted cotton and has a large brim. The brim has a wire in it and it lets you change its shape.
I also bough a blueberry rhubarb jam which is delicious. There were tons of vendors selling all sorts of thing and it was enjoyable if very, very crowded.

My answer to everything is "moving". Hubby worked at a very part time job as his doctor said he could do it. He is off his main job for about two more weeks. I loaded a few things into the pickup and we are going to go set off insect/flea foggers since we did it two weeks ago and someone here mentioned doing it a second time in case any eggs hatched out. It is 45 miles to our new house so we try to make every trip count.

Sometimes you just have to do practical stuff and that is exactly what you did. I hate moving I have to say.

Oh gosh, you have just brought it to mind again that August is almost over. I didn't do too much today. Didn't get out to church so streamed the service on the Roku. I did get to the pharmacy later in the day to pick up scrips for The Man. Made supper, made coffee. Sitting here trying not to fall asleep.

It is very nice and now they are going to have a Sunday holiday Market. I plan to go and see if I can do a little Christmas shopping.

@BelleStarr She is a handful. I never knew dachshund puppies were so hyper. I got Bella when she was 1 1/2 yrs old. She is into everything. My brother watched her while I took a nap yesterday and said he would much rather go to work each day...lol. But we love her dearly.

Was supposed to get my biometrics taken for the upcoming national elections next year here in the Philippines but as expected, the government has a way of making things more complicated and difficult. Decided against it and just watched the replay of WWE Summer Slam.
