I planted a lot of things in the garden this summer: tomatoes, cucumber, zucchini, melon, herbs, and so forth. Most things because the weather was so up and down everything ended up dying. Well I went away for the weekend to come back to about 20 tomatoes. I gave some to my uncle, and a few coworkers. I froze a few for stews during the winter time. But I am not sure what I should do with the rest, some are still green so I have time to plan. What did you grow this summer?

I haven't grown anything this summer as I didn't have the money to start gardening, but I really want to. I have a little deck outside of our apartment and it would be the perfect spot for a tiny herb garden. Do you have any tips, tricks, or recommendations?

You can find a lot of ideas on smaller gardening on pinterest. I do most of mine in pots as our soil is pretty bad here. But you can grow anything, many times I use leftover lettuce stems and regrow them!.
