Do you believe in luck, friends?? I do.Can you define luck?Is it just a coincidence?I have no answer. If I believe in luck,it is because my own experiences have 'forced' me to believe it. Once I had heard an industrialist say,'Behind all your achievements, there is 99% of your hard labour and just 1% of your luck, but if this 1% is not in your favour,99% of your labour goes futile.' I think,he was right. Do you think so?Do you believe in luck?

@Ifamous,Hindu philosophers too define luck in the same manner. They call it'prarabdha.'This 'prarabdha' is the outcome of all our good and bad deeds. We all pay for our karmas, they say.And they say that our karmas are cause and the consequences we get is the outcome.

@jstory07,so do I.If you believe in luck, then you have to believe both in good and bad luck. What is it when despite all our hard labour, motivation and self confidence we fail to achieve things we want to?Something mysterious is there. We call it luck.

I feel that luck is more of being in the right place at the right time and being prepared to take advantage of opportunities as they are presented.

Of course I do, and I also believe in being optimistic rather than pessimistic.
