The Picture Says It All

Daisy is adjusting so well to her new home. Her tummy issues have been resolved, thankfully. I think it did have to do with the puppy food. My brother and his co-worker built her a 'play pen'. It is huge and we have it in the office and she can see us from the living room as well. Whenever she gets tired, we put her in the play area and she curls up in her bed and goes right to sleep. I can also put her there whenever I am doing stuff around the house for short periods of time. All the rest of the time, she is out and playing with her toys and Bella. Can you believe that this little baby is pretty much pad trained already? Where we live, there are so many students who have dogs and we don't know if they are all up to date on their shots. Daisy has had her first set of shots but I know she is not completely safe yet so we decided to pad train her until she has had all of her shots. Bella is also pad trained. For right now, I put a pad in the living room and she will stop right in the middle of playing to run to the pad to do her business. It is just too cute to see a puppy that little know what she needs to do. Once I know that she is completely trained, I will gradually start moving the pad until it is in the extra bathroom which no one uses. I have included a picture of Bella and Daisy playing. I hope it isn't too blurry. As you can see, they love to play and really love each other already.

I'm glad she is adapting well to the new home and her tummy issues our better. My mom's dog was easy to train as well. If you don't take the time to be with them and train them then they won't learn. It takes time and patience.

You are so right. With me not working and being home all the time, it has really made a difference. I love spending time with her and watching her and Bella play.

She really has and I am surprised, shocked and happy. She is very smart to be only a puppy.

Thanks Anna! The next day after we changed her food, she was fine. No more diarrhea or bleeding.

First off glad her tummy is better since you changed her food. The picture is adorable and we can see how much they love each other. Glad her potty training has come along so well, I used the pads when I got my puppy Bon Bon but my older dog Honey showed her to go outside and she learned really fast. I love to see two dogs together like in your picture as they can have so much fun together playing and romping.

I was a little worried because Bella can be cranky at times but she has been handling all of this wonderfully.

Awww, they look so cute together and I'm sure that Bella has a lot of influence on Daisy when it comes to training.

@Carmelanirel2 Yes she does. She has been teaching Daisy her "manners" as I like to call it.

They are so adorable. It shows that she is adapting well nice to see her playing with her buddy. In a short time your dog will be more trained and yeah i agree it takes a L-O-N-G time and plenty of patience
