Have you ever found money lying on the ground?

I have a friend who frequently claims to have found money lying on the ground. she says she does that when she goes shopping. I have never ever found free money lying on the ground. I guess I would be thrilled if I did so.. I may even do a happy dance. I have seen people dropping money from their wallets and I have alerted them to it a couple of times That is how lose i have come to finding free money. Have you ever found money lying on the ground? What did you do with it?

I haven't yet . But if i did , i will pick it up and see if someone is looking for it , then i will give it . But i think if there's none well, finders keepers . My lucky day !

@SIMPLYD LOL You're like me.. Not so lucky.

My friends says she finds them in the parking lots and shopping malls. Its not much though but she is happy that she is lucky.. I always tell her to try the lottery.

Yes, I found a 20 dollar bill once, a few years ago. I had first noticed it as I was driving into a parking space. I wasn't sure if it was money at first as it was folded up really small. After I got out of my car, I went over to where it was. Sure enough, it was! I don't remember what I did with it. I probably used it for groceries for my family. lol

Yes, that I have plenty of times. I wouldn't say it was 100s of dollars, but pennies here and there. Nickles, dimes, quarters. You bet. I pick it up and stick it in my pocket, and it then goes into my 'change jar' to be rolled and deposited in my savings account.

@sofssu I wouldn't say always, and no that I don't. If they wanted it, they would have picked it up when they dropped it. You can clearly hear change clink against the ground.

I find coins, most of the time in the shopping carts area. It is possible that people drop the coins and do not take the time to search for them.

I have found money lying on the ground few times, what impressed me most was when I was young, I was so nervous and all at sea while I found the money (now I don't know why I was nervous at that time, may be afraid of being seen by someone). I unexceptedly gave out the money to friends, now I feel I was so silly

@sofssu it's 80 yuan, just like you found $80, too much for young me~ To be honest, I can't even believe you have not found money, more or less, it's really common among my friends, maybe people in your country don't lose money a lot

Only once did I find $5 on the ground, but my sister found $20 once. I don't think it's that common. W hen you find money in a parking lot, there's not much hope of finding the owner.

@Rollo1 At least you fond once.. some people seem to have a habit of finding money.. I guess I have poor eye sight.. or maybe I am only concerned with the greenery out there.

I have found some coins on the ground. My ex-boyfriend was very lucky. He often found money in the street. He found several 50 kr bills and one time he found a 500 kr bill (about $80) I am not sure how he spent it...

Some people really have that lucky streak or sharp eyes I'd say.

The only money I have ever found on the ground was a just a few cents here and there. I have never been lucky enough to find a dollar or another denominataion. I have never worried about it though, as if I am meant to find any, it will be there, and I won't have to look for it.

I found a 20 dollar bill in the store Spencers in our local mall. I'm sure someone dropped it. I waited awhile to see if anyone would come for it, no one did.

I've found small amounts of money laying around. I think the most I've found was $20. My cousin found $100 once. Because it's just a small amount of money, we kept it. If it was like a suitcase of money, we'd probably give it to the police, lol.

Haha... here if people find free money lying on the ground. they would simply just chance upon it to grab it, without thinking anything.. Well , I never do that.. but yes, I have a friend who is just like this , he cannot resist anything free...!!!! lolz... :p
