Plans for Labor Day

This Labor Day we won't be cooking out on the grill like everyone else and like we have done in the past. My brother is craving ham so he will be cooking a small one, just big enough for us to eat on for a couple of days. I'm not sure what else he will be getting to have with it. My kids live about an hour and a half away and won't be able to make it this year so it will be just the two of us, which is okay because neither one of us have been feeling good lately. Do you have any plans for Labor Day? What will you be cooking?

Our new town has a parade and lots of stuff. I do not know that we will be cooking anything special. We could grill a turkey.

The roomie has to work, and I'm having minor hand surgery today, so I don't know if we are making any plans... probably not.

@ElicBxn Ah sorry to hear that never did like pain myself and have had plenty of it. That dang arthritis sure hurts I have it in my neck and right arm and sometimes it is difficult to even type. Hope your feeling better soon

@Marcyaz nope - in fact I'm already done... but I can't feel my left ring finger and my left hand is pretty bandaged up. Not the most fun I've ever had, but at least it should stop hurting as bad. Found out my right thumb still hurts because of arthritis...

We don't have any major plans. We'll be seeing my mom on Sunday. She invited us over to her place for lunch. Otherwise, not much planned for this weekend. Probably just enjoy some relaxing family time.

We don't celebrate labor day here.. I just wanna have some grilled chicken this weekend. W have moved to our new home and don't have a place to set up our grill.

@simone10 My husband had an appointment with the Neurologist. I have spent the day waiting for him in the Doctor waiting room. Now it's almost dinner time here.

Not cooking any more than usual. I cook most days! But I plan to play golf in the annual tournament held in my community. The weather should be glorious. So sorry to hear you have not felt up to par.

I am going to my boyfriend's mom's house for a family picnic on their side. It's going to be 91 degrees tomorrow so I'm sure I'll be in their pool also. Hope you enjoy your ham I'm not sure what we will be having tomorrow.
