My own back garden

I like the back garden to my house though I preferred it before my parents tore out the real lawn to add an artificial one, wiped out our natural rhubarb patch and chopped down the holly tree. The view of the trees in the park is lovely from here though.

Yes it is a maintenance thing, though the original law started growing back under and partly through it so it had to be stripped out and fixed recently.

@arthurchappell How long did it take for the lawn to grow back under.. it must have been expensive to replace the artificial lawn again was it?

It looks neat and tidy although I prefer the natural look that you spoke about..My garden grows on its own and I work around the trees that have been there since 50 years or more and add some plants here and there where there is enough sunshine for them to thrive...
