My Wife Loves It That I Can't Talk / myLot

I went to the doctor today and found out I not only had laryngitis but as a bonus, I have sinusitis and bronchitis thrown in for good measure. The only positive part of this whole thing, at least from K's perspective, is that I'm not supposed to talk unless I absolutely have to. So far, I haven't absolutely had to very often today. Thanks to the meds, I feel less miserable than I did. I'm also not coughing as bad. It has been raining here on and off most of the afternoon with a few thunder booms in the distance. It is raining right now as a matter of fact. Ace has been sticking pretty close to me all day. I think he knows how I am feeling and wants to make sure I'm okay.

Oh so sorry to hear of your sickness DW. That is miserable. Yes is Ace the dog? I forget. Animals know when we are not feeling well. Well yes, your wife can have a break lolz

Ace is my mini-schnauzer we adopted/rescued last January. Unless he's running around with our other dog in the back yard he doesn't get very far from me. Last few days he's hardly let me out of his site.

Will you be going to school this week with laryngitis? I wonder how the students will feel about a mute teacher?

I managed to teach Thursday and Friday without much of a voice. The students were very understanding. They begged me to get better so I wouldn't need a sub.
