Where is your calm place?

Well, about to head to work again... yay. Do I sound excited. Temperature is wonderful outside, hope that lasts. And trying to keep one of my calm places set in my head. I get bugged I am going to pretend I am working there.
How about you, do you have places you retreat to in your head?

The places i have to retreat are in my head. No vehicle to leave, to disabled to walk where I want to go, teenagers that fight non stop, inside my head is the only safe retreat for me.
Not complaining. not all days are bad.

@Jessicalynnt No music in the bathroom. Even that is safe. My daughter has no issues walking in on me in the bathroom.

sometimes those places can be at home, like in a bubble bath with music turned up really loud lol

@rusty2rusty well, when there is one bathroom, you get less particular about sharing I suppose. Laundry room? most teens refuse to step foot in there!

@Jessicalynnt Sadly I deal with it a lot of the time. I like reading, and it can help. Sometimes just watching a movie or TV show will take my mind off of things too and help me relax. Music sometimes helps, but it can also make it worse because music tends to make my mind wander more.

I deal with that sometimes, reading for me helps. I can force myself to focus on anything but myself for a little while

Oh how beautiful..except knowing me i'd trip and fall on the rocks..hahah
I like quiet early mornings before all the noise in the town happens..birds and nature just awaking to say hello..in my backyard!

I know the feeling, sometimes that's the worst place to be, I read for times like that, or watch tv, can zone out
