Life is a Drama

I think in another life I may have been an actor, or maybe I'm just a frustrated actress.I find that when life is too much I pretend that I'm living in a movie. Once my husband and I were at the airport and my husband went off to the bathroom. Suddenly they called our flight, I waited five minutes, no husband in sight, so I casually walked up to where we were meant to board our plane. I could see him from the corner of my eye, it was getting embarrassing so I took another tack. I decided I was the star in my movie and I swanned gracefully up to the waiting hostess, showed her my passport and boarding pass and walked gracefully (so I thought) through to my plane with husband in tow. I don't know what the hostess thought but I felt pretty special being a star, hehe

You really need your background music, too, though. If you had mood music, everyone would know you were the star.

@Rollo1 Some would say I shouldn't be allowed out at all on my own

@Rollo1 I'm sure in this day and age my people could organise this. I should give them a call

I am always a star in my life and I find as I am now old there is less drama (oh okay I guess congestive heart failure can be drama) and more comedy! Heck even with the CF I was yelling "Where is my flip-flop?" while everyone was trying to save my life!! LOL

@RasmaSandra I can understand how annoying it must be when you are doing your great drama thing and people and traffic make noise with complete disregard to your theatricals

@glenniah I can relate. This comes from the person who decided that along with her regular job she should also take acting lessons. Well I never got to Hollywood but I have such an imagination that I can place myself anywhere I want to be at anytime. I go to the store and walk along fantasizing a star in my own movie and suddenly I get rudely awakened by such annoying things as people passing by or traffic noises and yes, I have to get back to reality.

Difficult times call for odd measures sometimes. You did better than me. I probably would have panicked. You kept your head. Good for you!

@celticeagle All I can remember is I had to get on that plane and it was a very very long walk holding my head up high all the while

All of us will leave behind history that would be fit to be converted into movies.

Life is one stage where you have to get your act in time on the stage. though there may not be any catcalls if you fumble, you are sure to rap, depending on the act.

@glenniah For sure! The first take is the last, you slip on it, and have the devil to pay.
