I have my appointment at the hospital tomorrow morning. It will take a couple hours normally, and my appointment is at 11am.
The hook the IV up, then it pumps into me. I hope this time will be the last but I doubt it will be. I have gone at least 6 times already and it never is enough to bring the levels back up.
I am luckily so far the nurses have been rather nice, and always sit talking away. They for some reason have the TV in the far corner so I can never see it. Most people sleep during the treatment but I am usually up working at that time.

Good luck and I hope that all goes well. I hope that this will be the last time you will have to go through it, so you can be healthy again.

It does help with energy and mood which is why I keep going. But it is annoying sitting several times for 3 -4 hours at a time only to have to go back again.

@ricki_911 I don't know about the mood thing, but I do know about the energy. I am anemic at least once a month, and it is horrible. There are times when I go to do something, for instance get up to go do the dishes, only to realize that as I was in the process of trying to get the energy to actually get up I fell asleep.
I hope that they are able to find something that helps you, so that you do not have to keep going back and having these treatments.

They are! I've had a few that couldn't put the needle in or just rude. But today they were both very nice.
