Pink Tractor

Jim is a tractor enthusiast but when he found out his daugher was diagnosed with breast cancer he decided to paint this tractor pink in honor of her and to have the tractor ready for the Relay for Life.
Shortly after this relay two other ladies in the family were also diagnosed with cancer but a different kind.
Together, the family participates in events like the Making Strides: Walk for a World without Breast Cancer 5K.
The tractor also gets to its share of community parades and threshers’ reunions, raising money and awareness in South Central Illinois.
They hope that everyone becomes aware of self exams, as all three of their family members with breast cancer found the lump themselves.
Pinky, the pink tractor will be on the road at parades and special events this year.
Isn't Pinky adorable.

We have had a pink fire truck near here. I like the pink tractor and the reminders.

What a great idea i love the color pink and it shows pride. Hope and pray their all doing ok now and can fight off the cancer. So many people our getting it now that it worries me too.

That was something nice to do for his daughter. It seems everywhere I turn now I hear and or read about cancer. Like it is getting worse. I hear about more people being diagnosed with cancer than ever before. Maybe it's a sign for me to stop smoking.

Thats a nice tractor. I once got stuck on 1-70 and a pink tow truck came to us.

I love the idea. It certainly would attract lots of attention and that would make everyone thinking about what it meant!

What an awesome idea to paint the tractor pink I pray for this family that they will come through this ok. God please bless this family in every way they need it. I thank You that You are Jehovah Rapha our Healer. You know each family member and all that is involved here. Thank You Lord in Jesus name

What a cute tractor and such a thoughtful thing to do, too. So wonderful to know that people come up with creative and alternative ways to increase public awareness. Looks like Pinky is going to be very famous!

Isn't it great that they chose to do something positive and spread awareness about cancer rather than wallow in self pity like most people would have
