Something you'd enjoy watching? All I can say is, I am sorry, I did not express what I wanted to say correctly. If you notice, I removed it. I regret the pain it caused to you. I have spent a lot of time searching for you. Hope you will find it in your heart to forgive me.

@vandana7 No worries, Vandana. It wasn't so much that it upset me, but the shock of the negativity of it all, not just to me as a person of colour but also the African American people as well as Africa as a whole, diverse continent. But let's not rake over it again, because honestly, I appreciate your apology and I'm happy to start over.

Don't remember seeing this movie. But it sounds interesting. It is a shame how they treated the slaves in those days. And just the mere fact that there were even slaves makes america look barbaric. Well, maybe it is, but this is something that never should have taken place.

@Marcyaz Just try and imagine how the world would be if there was none of this craziness. Imagine a world that never had slavery. A world that had no hatred and was peaceful. Wait, I just started dreaming. I am in the real world not. Nice!!!

I've never seen it but it sounds like it would be a good movie. I've been pretty fascinated with the underground railroad ever since I went to camp in the 5th grade and they did an underground railroad where we were slaves, and they also held a slave auction. It was quite the experience, and ever since movies like that have fascinated me. I might be checking that out once I get some down time.

@Marcyaz It wasn't. We were really made to feel like slaves. We even got captured a couple of times and were forced to crawl by a slave owner at one point. A few of the kids got scared and had to stay by the teacher, because it did feel very real.

The underground railroad was such a great thing. I enjoy stories about those who helped in this organization.
