Three Large, Black Furred Creatures

This morning I was with a group of others and three large, black furred animals crossed in front of the window. At first I thought they were long legged bears, but their faces were all wrong. As I went to the window for a better look, they had human-like faces, but bestial and wolf-like. While watching, another of our party went outside and started taking pictures. Bad idea. The closest one stood up on its hind legs, and towered at about 12 feet. It swatted the guy and knocked him out. I didn't know what these were. The others stood as well, and they looked like they would descend on the man when a shot range out, and the closest creature collapsed. The other two fled into the woods. I called them 'Yetis' at first, then Werewolves, though neither might be accurate. A few hours later we were looking at portions of strange looking meat sizzling on the grills (yes, the guy that shot it also cut it up and cooked it. It tasted awful! Oh by the way, this was a dream.
