I was eating in Nando's very often when I was in England. They have the best chicken, I didn't know it was a Portuguese company.

@Gina145 Initially I thought it was British.

It must be a very successful company, I wish they would open some restaurants in my country as well. It used to be one of our favorite dining places.

I have not heard about Nando, but I know very well the Portuguese specialy "Frango Piri-Piri" (chicken with spicy peppers sauce).

Yum, that sounds similar to the chicken they have. It is spicy peri peri chicken.

@gudheart yep, I live quite far away from nandos.. so can't always go, the nearest chicken place is KFC. cost nearly the same.. and no where as nice.

I have wonderful memories from Nando's. I was also collecting stamps and got the free chicken a couple of times.

@sishy7 I like free food.

It always tastes better and feels like a reward when you manage to reach the points. I used to collect stamps and they had different rewards. I don't remember exactly but I think with seven stapms you could get 1/4 chicken and it would increase from there.

@besweet With the membership card, I get to collect points with each purchase. The points can be used toward next meal or to purchase Nandos merchandise. On my birthday, as a member I got free meal.

I haven't heard of Nando's. What country are you in? We discovered a new place we really like called Shane's Rib Shack. It's very casual but the ribs are fantastic. There are a lot of those restaurants in the southern US.
