Up Early, Sad and Disturbed

I am stressed out about the move, but that is not what has woke me up early.
Yesterday, before it was light outside, Bob left for work. He got Princess off the top of his car, got in and left.
She must have gotten back on the roof of the car. As he got about a block or two away he heard something slide off his roof. It was still dark, but he came back, because he knew it was her, sliding off.
We have not found her. He has posted on the radio, and checked with the vets and all the neighbors. One lady says she thinks she saw Princess run out of her garden before 8 a.m.
We have walked and driven the area multiple times.
Princess has been very distressed because the new owner has removed most of the foliage here, my sister has moved out, Bob and I have started sleeping downstairs. She has been feeling obviously out of place. I am worried we will not find her.

She is within two to three blocks of our old house. She does not usually go up to strangers. I am guessing she is mad at hubby for letting her fall off the car, or something, and is refusing to answer. He thinks she is across the (busy) street and will not cross it.

Me too. We had already decided not to get any more pets, but I was not ready to call it quits yet.

Yes, things turned out really well. She is right at home here. Hugs are always appreciated, though.

We are still packing at the old house and she has not shown up. At the new house we had not let her outside yet. I think all the changes have confused her.

I sure hope she shows up or you find her. It has to be distressing not knowing where she is.

It is, I have been awake since 2:30. She has always been partial to my husband and he is beside himself.
