for picking a ripe watermelon, cantaloupe or honey dew. They aren't green and non-flavorful. They are actually juicy, I am so pleased because I have missed my favorite all summer. Cantaloupes were just awful all summer. Just recently I have found some good ones. Are you finding any ripe melons?

@celticeagle Yes, during the month of August and September, we like to eat melon with prosciutto, it's an Italian habit.

@LadyDuck .....We were lucky with the watermelon. This summer they haven't been very good. Now I hope the cantaloupe is good.
