Oh yeah! I am a online shopper and till date always had an awesum experience in terms of bargains too.. and do feel that online shopping is better than real time shopping...
But yesterday only, I noticed a headline in newspaper about 1 person cheating an online shopping portal for some 20 lakhs. And how he did it was he had created several accounts with different names n email id's, used to return the electronic products by saying they are faulty and the shopping portal kept on refunding him like this for some 20 months
Sounds strange, isnt it?

I love online shopping but I only buy those things that aren't available locally in my place. It's mostly craft materials and planners from another country.
I have always been a hater of cheaters. They will always find a way to cheat people out of their hard earned money.

Surely sounds strange.
I never experience bad so far. I started online shopping recently. But so far I am doing good there. Yes I can reach to items which are not available at my place. So yes there are many benefits of online shopping.
How about bargaining? I never show something like that on online shopping. I mean we must purchase the item with the price tag they provide.

@MusesM - You are right.
Where do you utilize your saved time? (which otherwise you would have spent on shopping)

I have the same problem, @Shyamalaa! Not many online retailers deliver to my country, which is such a shame!

online shopping is good sometimes but we cannot believe it will be good always.
many people recommend to avoid online shopping because they supply used or old or second quality material.because every company maintains two qualities first and second.
unnecassary tension of returning the products.its better if we buy from the market.we can touch it,try it.if we dont like we can immediately tell the seller.
i generally prefer to buy from the markets.

@dodoazo I used to do a lot of online shopping earlier. Now I have lost interest as I live in a small town now, and most items are not delivered to our place.

I have been shopping on Amazon now for a year and loved it, till this past weekend. My account was hacked, they were able to change the name on my account and my email address successfully. I called Amazon first thing and they are working on the situation, but it has been a very stressful time for me.
I just recently in the past couple of months have branched out to KOHL's and JcPenney's for online shopping along with Walmart delivery to my home instead of the store. I just don't feel real comfortable buying clothes online. It's great for delivering items back home though, that's why I liked Amazon cause with my Prime acct I pay no shipping the majority of the time.

There are always some con-men out there to exploit the loopholes in the system- Interestingly UP has a lot of them coz Flipkart doesn't allow COD on products worth more than 5k in that state . But my experience has been good so far! Online stores do not incur the costs that showrooms do and are thus able to transfer the benefit to the customers! Great deal for us folks

@ashuli Well Delhi is not a part of UP, its worse off! Haryani, Bihari, UP! All sorts of creatures live their ( no offense, you obviously are an exception ) and this just goes on to show that they don't trust Delhites either cozz that policy is not all over India. I have on multiple occasions ordered things above 5K and the COD option was always available to me and everyone else. Sad to hear the nation's capital has another leather coin in its bag

Online shopping is really fun - We have loads of options, Discounts on many products and also easy return policies. I do lot of online shopping. It's sad that people are making false money out of it and cheating these e-commerce websites. Happy shopping all :)

Hell ya. I am too an online shopper. Its a great experience to purchase frm Online. Did you heard the big shopping days in amazon and flipkart from 13-17oct. last time both conducted at different times . Both earned 600 million last time. But this time its a games changer. Its a toughest competition for both to survive in te market. From my experience flipkart sells genuine but are costly than any other site. I always prefer and will prefer only amazon as it provides great deal and after that ebay.
