I have no frame of reference on them at all. Take art for instance. I have tried art, even my ex tried to teach me some things, but I have no knack for it at all. Crafts I have never been into much. I enjoy gardening, cooking, collecting miniatures and such, and I like to watch vintage movies. There are those who amaze me at their artistic abilities. My ex was great! But, alas, I have no ability. So what are you good at?

I hate arts and craft too. I am a number person, not an Art person. I can talk about the economy, the stock market, investments, and all money related matter, but I have no interest in Arts at all. I think it makes for an interesting world to have all kinds of people around.

I am good at cooking and gardening. And the love of my life has been language. I write. But don“t ask me anything about computers or any sort of technology. My grandchildren all know a lot more than me.

I ithink you are doing fine with what you have. We possibly cannot be endowed with every single talent that we see around.

This could be a reflection on your intellect because I often find that those who are academically minded have less manual talents. Many relatively less educated people make excellent handymen, whereas I would never dream of trying to solve a minor plumbing issue for fear of creating a major one. This is a factor that I have never really understood, although I have observed it to be generally true.

Just like you I enjoy gardening, cooking and watching vintage movies, but I also like to paint, to craft small little items for the house, to sew and to crochet.
