Have you ever been anywhere that you are determined to avoid in future?

We can probably all think of places that we would love to go to again, given the chance, but are there any towns or cities that you would hate to revisit if it can possibly be avoided? To be honest, I can't think of any offhand, but maybe I've never been anywhere that was horrible enough!

I too cannot think of any place that is so bad that you don not want to visit it again...I once visited Djibouti in Ethiopia a few years ago when it was relatively peaceful. It was very sad to see the place in shambles , there was nothing much there, no proper roads ..But the people were all smiles and very friendly and the landscape had its own kind of rugged beauty, so each place is unique inits own way - some good and some bad aspects !

Yes, I can understand not wanting to return to somewhere that has become positively dangerous.

@MALUSE I actually wanted to write Ethiopia and Djibouti..because I was sailing with my husband and visited both the countries at that time . What I wanted to say was that each place has its own beauty and if things were as before I would want to visit those places again !

I've just been to Leicester today for Argentina vs. Namibia and I'm NEVER going to park in Leicester Racecourse again. It took longer to get out than to see the whole game.

Welcome to Leicester! I'm sorry that you had such a problem, but I hope the whole experience was worth it. It's unfortunate that the Tigers ground at Welford Road was deemed unsuitable for World Cup matches - the pitch is too short and can't be lengthened.

Not really no, all the places I have been have had some positive aspect to them. Even the town that was highest in murders in the USA at one time had some interesting historical sites.

They weren't really nice to us in Paris, or to some other people from what I observed. Still, I'd go back, if only because Versailles was closed the 2 days we were there.

Vijayawada, the place I was born. I was physically abused by my cousins there. I hate that town.

Oh there have been a few places that I never want to see again. There were crime ridden, violent and scary. Out of respect to those here, who might live in them. I won't make a list.

Well, not a town, but definitely many restaurants :)
